Got a Viper 5806V installed... remote starter is sooo nice up in IN & PA. Looking forward to getting back to NOLA B4 the end of the year!

Yea yea that part of it sucks! If it's a DD I pretty much end up on my back cleaning the underside.

 

haha, oh nice! That looks rad. how well does it work? those connectors look huge in the pics. Feel like that whole thing would get in my way.

I think its the picture making the size of everything look odd. Anyways, I like it quite a bit. Before I just had that GPS stuck on the window with a RAM suction mount. Its far easier to view and navigate where it is now. Its also a lot sturdier. At first I have it on the left side of the deck, and it blocked my clock, so I moved it to the right and now its out of the way. You can also mount the balls on the bottom so they wont block anything, which is where I might mount my Nexus 7

Redid the door liner on my fenders using some super glue this time. They should hold better now. And finished my CB install. Probably going to relocated the handset since that piece of plastic isn't super solid. Maybe I'll go with a tech deck solution.

 

I have mine hanging there too. I've thought about maybe gluing that plastic piece on there.

 

That was my first thought, throw some jb weld on it and call it a day. Just not sure I can get it as 'polished' looking as I would like. Then I saw the tech decks this morning and my mind went that way. Still deciding. If you glue yours, let me know how it holds up.

Are you planning on putting alot of weight in that rack? I seen those type of legs really dig into the plastic caps… full rail will prolly distribute the weight better!
