Dremel if you want. I used a flat file so I wouldn't take too much off. You have to trim the stock holes to make them fit.

    Lots.
I used a dremel. Worked great. BTW, that LED light bar switch is 11 months old and shows no signs of fading. The other two switches are brand new.

Yea I got one and just used an exacto knife to trim out the hole to get a snug fit.

my only complaint was that the bars color faded and was a blackish/bronze color.

My totron bar did that as well. Now the whole thing is gold… Gonna have to repaint it one of these days

A can of spray paint is much cheaper than a rigid bar though

My brother's light did that. Mine didn't. Idk why, but it's not a big deal to me.

i imported some Aurora light bars , 2x4'' and 1x30'' in double rows. My friend has a 30'' rigid industries on his raptor and looking at them, i swear they are the exact same. exact same housing/dimensions/wiring harnest.., even the moisture vent is the same. I bet they make rigid's stuff. not sure about the internal's but the externals for sure came out of the same factory...

Anyways, they are brights as hell and are definatly well made and not the regular chinese made crappy replica's. And i ended up paying more than half the price of what my friend paid for his rigid's.

    i'll post pics soon

Im pretty sure, Rigid makes their own stuff in house. That being said I don't own anything rigid and sometimes think they are way overpriced. But for what you get when you buy them, they may not be.

They're designed and assembled in house, and I'm sure some of the piece are made in the US, but a lot of the individual parts are imported.

allpro long travel, shackle flip with ome dakars, cruisin offroad bumpers and sliders, 4.88 gears with arb's front and rear, budbuilt skids.
as long as its assembled in the US i can have a "Made In The USA" sticker/advertisment. quite shady really. rocky mountain bikes used to do that, have all there frames made in asia, then shipped to canada and painted, that was enough to let them have the made in canada status.

My 2 cents. When I bought my 32" Totron LED bar for $300..the comparable 30" Rigid was $1,200 (they have since come down in price to $1,000). The construction appears identical, and the brightness is the same. I make a very comfortable living and I am not going to spend 4X for virtually the same product. I am all for buying made in America, but my wallet comes first.

On a side note, a few months back they had a big truck show at the Tacoma/Tundra plant here in town. There was this super bad ass Tundra that had been on several magazine covers/spreads. It had several Rigid light bars on it..all of them had moisture in them.....go figure!

Rigid's new 2014 catalog states.."Designed, engineered, assembled in the USA". So I imagine most if not all of the parts are manufactured elsewhere.

I think Rigid innovated a great product...it is just way over priced.

Your not too far from the truth but it's the other way around…they are NOW made in asia but only since a couple of years ago when the was change in rocky mountain management. Before that the majority of frames were made by pro cycle in Quebec, Canada…they are still assemble and designed in Canada so it's the same as rigids with the "made in Canada stickers".

I think Ryan is right. they are assembled in house and maybe a few internal parts are made by rigids…But when we put both rigid and aurora bar side by side, the shell is the exact same, when i say exact it means even the mold makings are the same and located at the same place.

Now we need a rigids official to clarify that.
