Having trouble reading your oil level on that slippery stick? Here's the solution... tooter's cheap and easy oil dipstick mod.



Tape off the areas outside the dots so that you can sandblast the area between the dots. Then clean the dipstick and reinsert. The rough area makes reading the oil level so easy.

 

Now I need to buy a sand blaster..

 

Just take it to a friend who has one.

Towing 2 quads with one in the bed the trailer jack would hit my tailgate so I did a quick mod to the latch striker. Put a tac weld on back side so the cable would not slip off. I removed the tab so I could get the cable to swing up and over the striker. Now I can't close it but it helps keep my quad loaded and I can pull a trailer with out messing up my tailgate.

I have a 2012 taco. The check engine light came on and i took it to the dealer. They said it is an Air Pump Valve. Have you heard of this happening at only 11,500 miles.
