    lol just stirring the pot

side note: drinking a Monster prior to pissing in DEF tank will increases HP/TQ by 250% and gives you 3 more MPGs

Tacoma is for DD. It will get me where I need to go. Jeep is for wheelin. Not much Jeep left but a few feet of frame and some body. It gets me where I want to go.

Have an '08 Colarado for my son here at home, good little truck. Have had F150's & Silverado's. In the 80's 2 different Ram's. I have loved & disliked some things about each & every one of them. It was time for a new one & the pricetag was not a limiting factor. I had no real "brand" loyalty. After about a month of looking at the US big 3, plus Titans, Frontiers, & Tundra's
But the winner for ME was a 2014 Dbl cab, 4x4, TRD sport. Sure there are things I'd change but I'm lovin' this one now

I can remember a guy that bought his Taco and them complained about all kinds of things about it...and every thing he complained about was something he obviously should've seen and looked into before hand...

No worries man. All I'm sayin' is that not all of us have a forklift to test articulation on so we can drive away in our DD 30k taco. :D

I've shared a few opinions on the differences between my 4Runner (bought new back in 88) and my 07 Taco and how things have changed over the years with Toyota. That said i still think they're the best rig/best resale value out there.

Wow, I stirred up a hornet's nest didn't I? Didn't say I was offended by them, just making an observation. Specifically, I was referring to the gripes about frame rust (and Toyota's response to it), poor mileage, poor load carrying ability due to weak rear springs, looks, etc.

Not that many threads compared to the 5 million other ones that are pro-Tacoma.

Told you I was new to forums. Guess I was just a little surprised, that's all. I've been around long enough to no vehicle is perfect and beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so a dissenting voice doesn't bother me. I have to say, though, every time I walk out to where my truck is parked, it brings a smile to my face. My Tacoma is proving to be everything I'd hoped it would be.
