    Dang... :( Haha

I think I'll try and call Demello tomorrow and see about pre-ordering I guess haha

10" shocks are my best option, right?

Bumps will have to wait until I do a u-bolt flip unfortunately....

Demello is doing 20% off, no tax, free shipping and free hoody on Icons starting the 29th.

Hey not trying to steal a thread or anything, but I just picked up an 08 Red Double Cab 4x4. I moved back to StL earlier this year after retiring from the Army, but was born in raised here. Who has the sickest taco in the area? I'm new to 4x4, but not to automotive work.

Sorry that did come off as an awkward question. I just see all stock tacos rolling around town and was wondering if anyone in the area has one they have put a lot of love and time (dont forget $$$) into.

    well...

im my other one..yes..More then im proud of..haha enough to probably buy your new truck or at least cover more then half..and its not even close to being done. :frusty:

And my Dad too..his is an 08 too. He went more performance though and boosted it but he also is almost fully armored.

So..i know my way around a tacoma :p haha

This thread isn't very active though..my Wy BS thread is more active which i find funny since they is less people in the whole state then St Louis haha but you have to go further out of your way here to get out and about..

My other truck that i have here in St Louis is just bone stock.

Im not super familiar with the other guys in the area..i have only ever seen on FJ that was kinda lifted and such though..no Tacomas yet

My taco still looks stock, but I'm working on it. So far I've added fog lights and just did 5100s today. Got 265's coming next, then I'm thinking weld on sliders after that. Some time down the road will be bumpers and more lighting. :D

Probably because you guys have way better off roading then we do down here, :(. Most people in St Louis just buy 4x4s for the 2-3 times a year we get snow and they never see dirt.

I sure use mine for exactly why I did the mods to it that I did. All to get to my hunting grounds.

I got to pull out a stuck Silverado this weekend. Made my day.

Yea I would guess most people on this site actually do use their trucks. I was thinking of some guys here at work who all got 4x4s and almost never use them. No one wants to take them wheeling with me lol.

Depends on what kind of wheeling. I don't want to damage my baby quite yet. My old 2005 yea I wouldn't have hesitated. I've only got 15k mi on my 2013.

Haha. I've encountered some pretty tricky parking lots where I was glad I could crawl up the curbs.
