    Mustache not beard lol..

I would feel the same way showing something to people like you say, in general it seems most people would just call bs or whatever. Specially people that's never had an experience.
But having read some of the stories you've told, makes me think maybe it is something, whatever the case, definitely looks like a face, there's no questioning that.
Also with you're stories seeming dark in nature, like seeing demon looking creatures etc. I would have to be skeptical of that really being your grandma or something friendly. But that's just me.

And have you ever thought about sending it in somewhere to have it analyzed?

Some interesting stuff in here. I've always been intrigued by it all and watch the shows, but it's hard for me to actually believe in it all until I experience it myself. Not saying it isn't real or anything. However, the rental house my wife and I were in for 2 years (moved out 2 months ago due to buying a house) made us wonder from time to time. We have 2 cats and a dog and everyone know's how weird cats can get, but our youngest cat, Harley, would always look off in the air at something in the kitchen and then turn her head sideways and start chattering and then just randomly jump like she's trying to catch a bug. Our other cat started doing that too and meowing. I've heard speculation that pets can sometimes see things we can't. Well, one night my wife and I were watching tv and our cats walked towards the hallway where the 2 guest rooms and bathroom were and they froze at the entry way to the hallway, about a minute later our dog got up and walked over there and just stopped also. We looked at them like "what are they doing?" and that's when we heard a door slam shut. I got up and walked to the hallway and all the doors were still open. At first I thought I was just hearing things but my wife heard it too and when it happened all 3 pets ran off. Still can't explain it and things like that happened throughout the time of living there, like doors creaking, cats playing with stuff that isn't there, but it was never anything that frightened us. One day my the cats started their playing again and my wife said "they must be playing with Charlie." I asked who Charlie is and she said she didn't know if the ghost was a guy or girl and Charlie can be gender neutral. From that point on when something happened we would just say that it's Charlie just having fun. Here in the new house that pets don't do anything like that anymore.

I've read that it is not uncommon for something "bad" to take the shape as a passed loved one to get your guard down... I haven't seen or heard anything that would make me believe it was my grandmother in this house aside from the crashing sound that everyone in my family heard in their individual homes heard when she passed.

So it is possible, But that would only have to mean it followed one of them... Probably doesn't help that they claim to be "satanists" (He claimed to be a Laveyan and she deistic). But at the same time, My grandmother was quite christian in her last few years and always called my sister "princess".

Their type of satanism is more atheistic... But he was a stupid little pussy (literally everything scared him and he always cried like a little bitch), He was the definition of a band wagoner. He would just do things or say things just to piss people off... So he did have an "altar" or shrine with the black bible, a plastic skull, some knives, inverted crosses and crap. My sister never really cared for that kind of stuff... But more so liked the style and the atheistic views.

I've posted it on 4chan once and my sister has posted in on reddit, We both got mixes of "that can't be real" and "I can't see how that is faked with the story"... Never really thought about sending it somewhere to have it actually checked out thoroughly.

    Cool.
I keep going back and forth trying to compare. And I'm looking at bone structure etc. specifically around the nose and cheeks and how the skin seems to be rounded different.. To me it doesn't look like her, it looks more like an old guy. But maybe if the angle of the grandmother was the same it would be different for me.
Also if guywithcamera really thinks it looks like her, he would know better than me.

Sorry for quoting the whole piece...but that is so similar to what I have had since I was a kid. Vivid dreams of Grandma dying, family friends etc. All before anyone knew about them.... And all came true. I completely freaked my parents out a few years ago while they were on a Navy reunion and I dreamt one of their close friends died that they were with, ....he died the next day of a heart attack. So many other stories. Cool thread!

I just don't really give it too much thought unless something happens... But since as you are aware, I've always had stuff going on. So it's not so bad, I'm not going to go around welcoming it or asking for it to show itself.

Reddit is like like a 4chan but slightly more complicated to use... I have a small list of favorites.

Yeah I just checked it out. Doesn't look like a site that would ever interest me, just the initial look of it and how hard it would be to get used to. TW was complicated enough at first lol. I've never even been on 4chan.

    Thanks for sharing.
I believe there's something to animals being able to see or pick up on things we may not. I have another story I'll tell at some point, it involves a cat and dog.
    It's cool.
The dream thing is interesting. Don't know if you read my small story about my grandma in a dream within a couple of hours of her dying and having premonition type dreams or not. But makes you wonder when you have them.

The dream thing is pretty crazy. Family members, my cat, dogs, family friends. I actually know the dream type now and call right away to whomever I can. My Grandad is the only survivor so far. He turns 100 in February. So that isn't too calibrated.

    Time for a rant.
That is human nature. Don't be offended by this post, please. But when people "see" what they want to see in images, they get upset when others don't and feel that they have to defend themselves. I guess that's part of the great pussification of America.
Honestly, I do not see why people are getting so upset on here. This is a public forum and to expect, or better yet demand, others to conform to a certain belief and not have an opposing opinion is beyond being ridiculous. I have read through this thread because this is a topic that entertaining to me and I find the posts both entertaining and somewhat creepy. Growing up, I have always loved ghost stories and the scarier the better.
What is troubling is the fact that some on here threaten others for not conforming to their beliefs - and it is accepted. Another fine example of the pussification of America.
If the OP - or anyone - wants this thread and participants to behave in a certain and controlled way, then they should have the admins set it up to be by "invite" only. Otherwise, it is fair game.
For example (and using this as example only), camera guys pic doesn't look like his grandmother to me - it is odd, but not definitive. People are going to see exactly what they want to, no matter what it does/doesn't look like. Does it look like a face? Somewhat, but then again there are thousands upon thousands of pictures that can be mistaken for a number of things. It all goes back to perception and what one wants to see.
I have had some experiences and I don't give a shit what anyone thinks and definitely don't feel like I have to defend myself. Nor do I get offended when someone says something different. It is what it is.

Ok, rant over. Great thread, OP!

a little more on this. Its all about perception and the state of mind people are in.

My father in law was headed home from work a while back and saw someone beating the shit out of another guy at a park. He did a U turn real quick and pulled into the park to see what the hell was going on.
It was a really windy day and it turns out it was just a guy wrestling a trash bag back into the trash can.
But going 50mph down the road and seeing it out of the corner of his eye it looked like a fight.

I "see" spooky/odd/strange shapes in the woods all the time but after checking them out its always just some sticks:D

Im not knocking on anyone or their beliefs at all. I find this stuff very interesting and facinating even though Ive never seen any ghosts.
I've never seen "aliens" either but I do believe in them.

Keep calm and carry on, TW

In response to the above posts. No one is upset about disbelief. I myself said I'm a skeptic, but people should be respectful of others stories. No need to come in this thread and be a DB about it. People are sharing their experiences that they said happen to them, and most are personal. Hence why people should be respectful.

I think its a great topic too. some people just wanna come in here and cause trouble, which leads to people getting banned and the thread getting locked. I like reading the stories and may not believe them all, but they are entertaining and some are really creepy.

If you troll or seem like a troll on any thread your probably gonna get flamed. I don't think this one is any different.

I don't know if this is true for everyone but I had to read through a terms of use agreement and agree to it before having posting privileges.

I don't think anyone is being asked to conform to anyone else's beliefs here. Just a little respect. I don't like it when people come off as knowing all there is to know and discount other people's opinions. The one guy that was calling guys idiots is no longer with us.

I think there aren't any problems respectfully telling someone that something is not believable but calling someone full of fecal matter is crossing the line.

Oh I totally get that. But I have seen some get defensive because someone may call a pic or whatever "BS." That isn't calling someone full of shit, as you say. The point of my post was the fact that some on here, as everywhere, get defensive to the point of lashing out if someone questions them. But it is what it is, though. I don't call anyone out but I may question things from time to time, especially if they are a little out there, if you catch my drift. Anyway,!

This happened to me while in college. I used to work at a country club for most of my time in college - almost 4 years of experiences and work at that place.
After I was there for a while, I was given more responsibilities and duties, which included being the last person to lock up and leave...alone. As a 20-something year old, it was awesome. Many of the members would stay after hours and drink and cut up, so it was not uncommon to leave at midnight when we closed at 7.
Once everyone had left, my main task of locking up and setting the alarm for the complex included doing so to an abandoned building on the premises. Well, it wasn't abandoned, as it was mainly used as storage, but it had previously been used since the '40s as the center of activity for the club. It had a locker room, plenty of entertainment rooms, and two dining rooms.
What began as subtle sounds late at night turned into a nightmare. It started small: cups dropping, doors shutting, lockers rattling, etc. But then it got worse...a lot worse. Old men screaming in pain. Banging on lockers. TV's turning back on at full volume immediately after turning them off and walking away. And I'm not talking about just one TV...all of them...at the same time. Once or twice I could have sworn as I turned around seeing an old man walking through the kitchen door. People died in that building over the years...could it have been them or just a coincidence? Compared with all the other stuff, this shite was no coincidence. I vowed to never go into that bulding again, and I haven't sense.
Other people reported strange stuff as well. Weird shite. Then, once night, I get a call from my boss after locking up and leaving him and a couple of people bullshiteting on the patio. He tells me that everyone left except him and one other person. All of a sudden, they hear what sounds like children laughing not far away.
So, they get up to investigate. They walk from the patio toward the putting green where the sounds were coming from, and the sounds stopped. Then, they picked up again a little further away, in a dimly lit part of the practice area. They thought it was kids playing around, as we've had young trespassers before. When they get to that spot...nothing. Not only did the sounds stop, the wind stopped blowing. It got cold. My boss looks at the other guy and says, "dude, let's get out of here. I don't like this at all". You could hear a pin drop. Then, from the other side of the building, a bright light, almost blinding them, rises up, hovers, then shoots across the sky and out of site. My boss said he never ran so fast in his life.
For the haters, I really don't care if you believe me or not. I don't know what it was. Believe it or not, your choice.
