I'm doing good Doug. I have mandatory overtime and I'm finishing my last semester in school. This has been a busy year.

Since I still don't have my truck back, I finally got around to taking my hunter safety and brought home a couple shotguns from my dads house that he doesn't use much anymore. The 870 wingmaster was given to me from his friend a couple months ago and the 1100 is just a back up to his Charles Dailey and Benelli Montefeltro that he uses out in the fields. So now I can finally start hunting down here

Up in Descanso at some guys house that offers it every couple of months. Ended up doing the online first which took only about an hour since its all common sense stuff and I been shooting since I been about 6, then the in class 4 hour follow up was pretty much him telling us about hunting trips he's been on and hunting accidents. If you have the least bit of common sense anyone can pass it. Ended scoring a 97/100 and you need 80/100 to pass. Now I'm eager to hit the fields. My dad goes down to Mexicali about once of twice a month with a bunch of retired LAPD and LA Sheriffs and they limit on pheasant in about 2-3 hours. I just have school and work on the days he goes down there.

Hey, we went there the day before you (i assume) we went up there saturday.
I really enjoyed the full class, we went on a hike, and had a good lunch.
Was it cold when you went? it was a high of 50 when we were there, and when we left it was 42 (weather channel said it felt like 37).

I'm not sure where i'm gonna be hunting upland game, my cousins know a guy who has a ranch out past the golden acorn that he lets them hunt, so that's where i'm going SAT.

Yeah same guy I'm sure the class would have been more informative if I did the whole day class, but there wasn't really much he could tell us that we didn't already know from the online that was going to help us for the test. Lunch was awesome he made us some chili with dogs and we went on the same walk I believe and watched his dogs beth the duck in the pond, and checked out his butcher room. Overall it was a cool class and worth the $20. My friend is heading out to El Dumpo tomorrow morning with someone else and is planning on getting some ideas of fields to hunt and we're probably going to try to come back next week and hit them.

The lunch was awesome, it was the best food i've had in a while.
the butcher room was pretty cool, i'd love to have something like that at our new house.

Where's el dumpo? i'm not familiar with the local hunt spots.

Truckhaven? I was there on Saturday riding my dirtbike around the area while my friends were playing in their jeeps..

Stitches? Where? I dont see anything that would need stitches, if you need em I can do it, I got all the stuff.

I have done 4 incisions into my arm since October trying to get that damn Yucca spike out, still got the tip of it embedded in my arm, had to cut it open again last night to release the buildup of fluid (pus) inside.
The problem is that I am not getting much of any Yucca debris out any more, but it is still festering.

I might have to really cut this thing open big time, I am just a pussy and am afraid to cut deeper than 3/4 of an inch deep, lol. But the thing has got to come out or I might run into some wicked complications, I am surprised I havent yet since it has been infected for over 2 months straight.

Amerika! The land where illegal residents get better care than true citizens of this country. I cant even get my fucking arm fixed and have over $4000 in bills so far from this situation, and they didnt even get the whole thing.

Thats because you gotta do it like a MAN! (real men dont use Kayaks) If you were a real badass you would go out nekked with nothing but your teeth and bite your victim! But I aint gona think any less of you for that Tyler.

Hi Frank... hope things are working out for you... As an act of downsizing, and to cut drive distances, the Mrs. and I left Oceanside for San Marcos last July...

Oh, and we will have a Spanish edition of the missions book out soon... http://oldmissions.com

    Happy Thanksgiving!
