So I've been a little busy and working on the truck every now and then. Making my raisin look kind of like a truck again.

Beat up my fenders roundish and my hood so everything will kind of fit. Meh, it's a toy now. Not gonna win any shows

Edit: If you can't tell, I chopped down my front bumper a bit

Since Moab of this year, my driveshaft had a few dents in it. Which brings me to my next item to fix. While playing in my backyard rock garden, I kinda twisted my DS a bit to the point it's a little bowed. Needless to say when I hit about 15-20 MPH, my truck vibrates like crazy. Time to go junkyarding or order up a custom DS if I can't find a DS that will work.

No pic. Ended up doing a single barrel roll. Landed with all 4 tires on the ground. Was still able to drive it away. The bed got the worst of the roll, tailgate and driver side with a little bit of damage on the passenger side.

Finally got around to the junk yards. Found a blue single cab 95.5 Tacoma 4x4 :yay: so I got a new-to-me passenger door and a driveshaft. 2 1/2 hour drive back home. I test fit the drive shaft and come to find out... It's 2" short  The door on the other hand fit pretty good considering the cab was rolled and that was the side with the most damage. Will post a pic later of the door and fender to see the difference from the original door and this one. Now I have two doors with windows again :yay:

Using my tools of choice, my sledge hammer and my BFH, I managed to knock out the dents on the bed so I could bob the bed like I had planned if I had gotten a new-to-me bed. Just my luck the 12" I had cut out had removed the worst of the damage to the bed. :yay:

So this is where I left off last night
    D857D90A-DFF0-4FE4-B394-4FBA53E17728-338_7b13bb6c5f678b25e2df409f9b7ce6c10391b657.jpg
The bed is crooked due to the end sitting on the winch.

I still need to cut out a spot for the winch controller plug and the clutch handle for the rear winch.

Now to figure out the rest of the bumper... so I won't get any more scratches or dents

Oh and new taillights. The driver side is completely gone and the passenger side needs a new lens cover.

I sure hope so. That's my goal again, last year it was the solid axle swap. This year it's everything.

Hmm. Should I leave my truck red/black/red or try and make it one color? If one color, what color? Leaning toward dark grey or just make it undercoating black with a matte clear like the cab.

I'd go with all one color for sure. Give it a refresh with the other factory red or go white IMO. :)

I'm just saying if you're going to paint it you might as well do a new color.
