Trying to remember dream stuff from my psych classes....I think psychologists say dreams are the brains way of resolving unresolved issues. So, I guess, think if you had any unresolved issues with your grandpa, maybe.

In a way, that does make sense. I remember when he was in the hospital at the time of his passing. I visited him a day or two before and he was doing very well and we all thought he was going to be discharged. He passed on a Saturday. I thought he was doing so well, that instead of stopping by after class that Friday, I went on a date. My brother told me that he kept asking for me and where I was. I get a call the next morning to get there ASAP. I arrived about 30 mins before he passed, and quite honestly, have never forgiven myself for that. And to this day, it still haunts me. So, maybe what you said has some bearing.

The Copper Queen in Bisbee, I didn't see anything but one of the "hauntings" is a man smoking a cigar. All night long my allergies were killing me because I smelled smoke and we were on a non smoking floor. I could have just been smelling something from out the window or down the hall etc

anything worth noting or was it a bunch of bs?

I went on a historic "ghost" tour in DC and visited an old cemetery. It was fun and entertaining but thats about it :)

after the group left my wife and I stayed around the cemetery and took some pictures. when we were leaving some random lady walked up to us and gave us about a 40 min. history lesson about the cemetery and the soldiers that had camped there around the head stones.

Kinda weird. My wifes jokes that she was a ghost. who knows :notsure:

It was fun, I'd do it again. Basically walked through a bunch of old building and got a history lesson of the building and the haunting that had occurred at each place.

I've watched aircraft/objects hurtling across the sky only to make impossible hard 90 degree right angle turns, then stop & take off again.

I've been witness to a guy shapeshift into a dog face right before my very eyes at a distance of about 4ft..

I've been on the road driving & pass a slow ass car only to travel another hour on the same road without stopping & pass the same car again..

I've had what could only be called an "entity" urinate on a electrical wall outlet causing it to short/explode...

I have witnessed groups of satanist having a gathering around a fire in Descanso,CA... Home of the dogfaces it appears..

I have 2.5 hours of missing time when I dissapeared from campsite on the south rim of the Grand Canyon ( I woke up 3/4 mile away standing EXACTLY in the middle of the road, positioned EXACTLY equal distance between the stripes on roadway & the ranger in the search party looking for me drove right past me....twice & never saw me...

You can take away from this any mind set of logic...

What I DO know is that for myself (& maybe others) I'm not in the habit of diclosing details of my life & the weird shit that accompanies it. I prefer to call them experiences, because they are real events & when these are labeled as stories, its almost automatically assumed its not real, its just a "story"

As mentioned there is absolutely nothing to gain by telling our experiences as wack as they may sound, & I'm sure when the events took place WE thought things were wack too, with one exception, they didn't happen to random people for one to decide if its real, these things happened to us.

Personally, your friend sounds like the typical skeptic that has a very narrow view of the world around him

I have never done any of the DC ghost tours when we were stationed near there, Zombie. How were they? I have a good friend who was staying in the Marshall House in Savannah, GA - supposedly the most haunted building in the most haunted city...anyway, he told me that his wife woke him up asking why he was tickling her feet. He told her he wasn't and it scared the bejeezus out of her and they ended up leavin in the middle of the night.

Sorry, DGT, its in the South and you will be missing out on some good haunts...:D

    not true at all.

went to a rodeo in north caroline, long story short, they were running around on horses with rebel flags, and saying stuff about the south. none of that would fly in more nothern states.

seriously, what i saw blew my fing mind. i couldnt believe i saw something like that happen in 2013. there was alot more than just running around with rebel flags.

sorry to get this thread off track. just had to reply.

i think to think that there is no other planet out there that has intelligent life on it is just crazy.
i honestly have nothing cool to contribute to this thread, though..

Hey, it's Dr. Chinaman to you!

My cousins did take me the Vicksburg Battlefield in Mississippi. The worker there told us that he sees ghost soldiers marching around the battlefield. It was kinda creepy when we were there, but didnt get to see anything.

Guess we can agree to disagree. The stuff I experienced in the northern was a different brand, but still one in the same. And more of it. Has nothing to do with rebel flags. Not wanting to get into this discussion, lets just leave it at that.

Never been there before. Have been to Gettysburg a few times because we were so close. Took hundreds of pics and even tried to do some recordings (like on ghosthunters) in the Triangular Field but nothing came out of it. :anonymous: Out of all the pics, a couple that I took near dark have something that looks like it may be out there. I don't count orbs (not even red ones), either. Funny thing, my family and I were walking into the Triangular Field and passed this small group of people who were listening to a medium or the like. It was entertaining, and as soon as we passed him - I guess he was relaying a ghostly message - he said something about those strange people passing by.

I got a decent little experience/story to add to the list. I live in NC and there is a place called Acid Park. It has multiple stories about how a guy's daughter was coming home from prom and her and the guy wrapped the car around a tree right by the girls house. Not sure if the stories are true, but the towers do exist. The father ended up building a bunch of towers and windmill type things that shine like crazy when your headlights hit it coming over the hill.

Well, when I first got with my now wife, us two and three other people decided to take a trip down there and see what it was all about. We had our fun out there. Me and another guy jumped the fence and started climbing the towers and all that good jazz. Once we had our fun it was time to leave. I left first to lead the way in my car. Two of the other people were in a car behind me. As we pulled away, I saw this old guy standing beside a wooden stand right beside the path the kids were said to have died. Nobody else in my car saw it. A few seconds later, one of the people in the car behind me called me and asked if we saw the old guy as well.

Was it really an old guy standing there or something else? Who knows. Kind of freaky but interesting at the same time.

I did a tour of the Whaley house in san diego a couple months ago...didnt see/hear anything strange. However, when we went into the theater upstairs and sat down to hear the stories I started feeling extremely irritated and angry towrds the female tour guide...my attitude changed from having fun with people on the tour to being really pissed for no reason. After about ten minutes in the theater the guide tells us that people do get an irritable/angry feeling in there. Never mentioned anything to anyone at the time but did on the drive back to wifey. Coincidence...maybe.

Ya know the whaley house is built on a grave site, as a matter of fact they still recover bodies buried under the street & relocate when they find them
