Show me your CB!

I just picked up a Cobra 25 Classic, and I'm having some trouble finding a good place to mount it. Any of you guys with CB radios, go ahead and post up some pics!

 

im a first gen. but i threw mine under my seat....couldnt find ant other place for it.

I was thinking about the glove box too. I tried searching but it kept telling me that the term "cb" was too short, so I got nothing but threads containing the term "radio." And that was no help.

 

Yea. i just have mine in the glove box and the mic coming out of the side. I actually close it and just have the mic out while I'm off-roading or what ever. It's a chill spot. Good luck!

 

Next time, add asterisk (*) to something short like CB and it will allow the search.

Didn't mount the box yet but oh well it's plugged in.



Soldered a cigarette lighter charger to the power wires so I didn't have to run them to the battery.

On my first gen truck I used to own....
I had a Uniden 520XL installed in the ashtray. It was a perfect fit.

Currently...I don't keep a CB in the truck.

My CB setup is portable (plugs into cig lighter & has magnet mount antennae).

The reason I do this...is so we can move the CB around to different vehicles when needed.

 

no pic at the moment but i have a uniden mounted in the center console.. mounted right under the hinge up right so i can see it from the seat. works like a charm and i can close the lid on the mic cable when using it..
