Sweet! When I bought 9 years ago I could afford a fixer up with a basement or a garage. I chose to get a house with a basement and plenty of room for a 2 car detached for down the road when I hit the lottery.

Here is about 1/2 my backyard - so plenty of room.

Stay away from trees and anything tall for best results. Follow rightchannels guide to tuning and you will be A-OK.

Here is what I did with my fixer upper I bought in 2003 and fixed up in 2008.
When I built the new house I did a full basement instead of a garage.i have a little under an acre which left me plenty of room for a garage. The pole barn seems the way to go considering the price difference from a stick built.

It's in the time out corner.

The weeds are dead this time of year.

 

Thinking right where I now have my shed would be great. 2 car garage with a extra slab on the left for a carport/patio area. If I was a real baller I'd do a 2 story with an efficiency on top and live there while renting the house out.

 

That is the same thing I was planning on doing with the slab for the boat and the enclosed trailer. The township is preventing me from being a baller because I can't exceed the hight of the house and I only live in a rancher.

 

Oh F that. I hope I'm not in the same boat. I'm in a "L" shaped rancher.

I have an in with the head of permitting though, but sure something like that could not be overlooked. Used to date his daughter and I was a good guy to her. When I was getting my shed I stopped up for permits to move my fence to the front of my yard, for the shed, and for a deck. The fence and deck were already built LOL. He looked at the shop drawings I drew and stamped them all without really even looking. Only cost me $20.

 

I forgot my cousin and her new husband just bought a nice house with a two car gargle that's fifteen minutes away.

I did thank you. I had my settings like that before and my phone would still blow up. I turned that only on in the app but turned it off in my notification center in hopes that it will fix it.

 

Mine only goes off with pms, or when im quoted.... it used to go off all the time before that.... Overall I like tapa

 

What township is stopping you from building higher?

 

Lower Township and you can't exceed the hight of your house.

My town wants any shed bigger than 10x10 within 25 feet of property lines..... I don't understand some of the building codes

 

I need a permit for any shed over 100sqft and it must be 5' away from the property line.
