I scrapped the side against a concrete pillar and now have this mark. Is there a way to remove this?

remove the plastic clear vinyl sticker, buff out the paint, and re-apply a new sticker.

it really depends on how deep the scratch is.

You and my roommate must have scraped the same pillar. She did it on her car too. You "should" be able to repair it if it's just the clear coat. If it's to the metal, it might have to be repainted.

It looks like the paint from the pillar is on your truck.. Try rubbing it off with a rag with a little solvent on it, or even wd40 might remove the pillar's paint. As for scratches, remove the paint first and then see what you have to deal with.

looks pretty deep, concrete is very unforgiving on metal and paint jobs, you probably can buff a lot out, but, just from the pics, the clear coat is for sure compromised....

just how badly do you want it to look 'new'?

    Ouch.
With a Delorean and a Flux Capacitor.

Or a repaint and a resticker. No buffing that sucker out.

I don't know....that's an awful lot of texture on those scratches towards the top. Even if the paint transfer scrubs off that texture's probably going to still be there.

Looks like just the plastic fender flare scraped against the concrete? Worst comes to worst, just repaint. Black isn't hard to color-match.

I believe the DeLorean is optional. The hard part is finding the flux capacitor. I've been looking since '86.

O'reillys sells the Flux Capacitor. They also have the Mr. Fusion. No excuses now.

I have an identical looking scar on my truck (black) but on the front bumper, I was on a little ledge and rolled into a concrete light pole. No dent at all, but the same looking concrete scrape on the bumper.

I'd just order a new fender flare from a parts destributor. Best of luck.
