Just to let everyone know. I know some guys here have stern feelings against 4WheelParts and some of our products.

However, ProComp has recently released that their Xtreme AT's now have a 50k mileage warranty.

Also, ProComp MT2's (the brand new mud terrain) now has a 40k mileage warranty. This warranty is the first of its kind for any mud tire. These tires are leaps and bounds past the previous versions.

    Just a heads up ;]

    Also!

Anyone looking for an RTT? Mt Rainier model from CVT.

He was able to track down the manufacturer for CVT and bought some RTT's directly from the factory in China. They are blank (no logos) tents.

He is looking to get 1000 for the tent. It normally sells through CVT for 1600. It's the same exact tent as the CVT, just hasn't had the logos printed on.

How long will he have these? Would he be able to get another if requested?

Back from a week in Nawlins... beat up tired and my legs hurt from how many hot laps we did around the french quarter. I am drinking most of today to balance back to a normal amount of alcohol from the massive excess of the last few days. Damn my bank account took a hit, lol. But I'm back!!!

No idea. He has two, one of which he is keeping. I could see how hard it was for him to get the 5 he did. I guess you can buy these things by the container haha, as in a full shipping container full of them.

As of now he is only selling the one, the larger (Mt Rainier). He just said he'd like to get it out of his garage. Didn't give me a time frame.

x2 in the end, they're all the same stuff. My buddy just offered me his 'extra' one. Being that I'm not in the market for one, I just thought I'd share :D

Passed a nasty looking wreck on my way home this morning, SB 101 in Marin, by tiburon exit. Looked like a Unimog flopped on its side. Desert tan, lights, crap strewn all over the place.

Can't be 100% sure it was one, but It looked like it.

Sweet, congrats man. I had a friend who used to work there on the corolla line, said it was one of the best jobs he's worked at. I am certain that Tesla, in collaboration with Toyota, will keep that work place amazing.

I just wonder if they have any positions open for IT. :) would be nice to finally be working again.

Depends on where you want to mount your radio. I made a custom cable that went from the mount along the rear bumper to the passenger side and then up along the top of the frame, through a plug underneath the passenger seat and into my glovebox from the A Pillar. It was a couple bucks for the connectors and a 25 ft length of cable from Fry's.

The concensus is that you want to minimize any extra cable and run it relatively close to the exact length you need to make it from point a to point b. This way you won't need to worry about looped sections of cable creating a choke that prevents the signal from passing through OR any tight angles that would serve the same purpose. Any quarter wave or 1/2 wave issues are negligible compared to looping or tight angles.
