what would be a good shock for this? and if i do the rear ill do the front, ill want to keep my 886 ome coils so i would just need shocks, preferably adjustable?

I would get some 12" travel shocks and get either the pelfrey built or BAMF shock relocation kits. That will basically maximize you SOA setup.

Those are just some random shocks I googled... Supposedly they are 18" travel triple bypasses. Way more than like 99% of this site needs. haha

:cough cough: I think it is 30% off right now as part of Jerry's sale.

I don't have any particular recommendations for what shock you should get, mostly because it really depends on what type of wheeling you're looking to do.

The bypass shocks Brady posted look like Sway Away Race Runners. We're in the works to partner with them if that tells you anything. If you're going to do shock relocation you might want to hold out a little bit longer. ;)

Just checked and yep, ATO shackle flip.

This pick is on factory mounted OME's shocks with Dakars I'm pretty sure.

When you're ready to make the change let me know and we'll see where things are at. Snow (Salt) is coming so the truck will be back in the shop soon...

I'm not entirely sure what you mean. The biggest things are the new shocks, longer brake lines, and you'll probably want to drop your bump stops down. There's info in the first post and on the product page on our site for all of that. I don't want to quote it here in case it ever needs to be updated. As for the install, get a warm garage and a buddy with a plasma cutter for the rivets. They can be done by drilling them out but the plasma is easier. As for drive-ability, in true honesty I can't tell the difference in the ride on my Tacoma on road, hauling weight or not.

If you already have extended rear brake lines, you should be good. A less expensive, and less messy way to extend them a lil more, is to space the bracket on the axle. They have cylindrical spacers that you can put a bolt through at the hardware store, they cost about $2, and you don't get brake fluid everywhere.
