Now that you got that sexy cage in there make sure you pick up some cheap play helmets at least! Last thing you want is to spend all that money on safety and then smack your head off a tube.

Eddie did his as well. As far as the ATO flip it works well, but for long term abuse of desert wheeling/hucking I wouldn't recommend it.

If your caging, wear a helmet!!!!!! Ive seen two different people die (different situations).
Both hit there heads on the cage when they rolled. I cringe when I see guys going wide open with a caged truck with no helmets. If you notice I never drive my truck with out a helmet (unless im going to take a shit...lol)

I solidified mine with 1/2 inch rubber pad and piece of flat bar as the top washer.

I bet that will work great! I'm not that smart so I welded mine solid. Motor mounts too. It doesn't pop out of gear on hard hits anymore though lol.

Hey guys I'm doing a shock relocation soon and trying to put together the parts.
I figured you guys have a ton of knowledge so I figured I'd post these questions here.

Is it standard practice to use bolts on the shocks that have full shank inside the misalignment spacers?
Is there a rule of thumb for how much space should be left between the shock mounts where they bolt up, picture the gap between the lower shock mounts and the spacer, or should they be tight to the spacer?

Thanks for any help you can give, trying to do it right the first time.

Full shank inside the spacer. Having threads where the shock rides will eat up the spacers pretty quick. Use grade 8 bolts or better. I like F911 bolts, or Bowman Bowmalloy . Leave enough room to get the shock in there (with spacers attached obviously), but it should be pretty tight. The biggest thing is just to make sure your mounts will clear the bottom of the shock end. Don't want to ruin any of that pretty anodizing...

I just cut and burned these 3/16 motor mount plates to box the mount and will be installing the bomb proof/trail gear solid mount tomorrow. I cut the template out of cardboard and have it scanned if anyone wants the PDF to just cut it trace it on metal and cut it. would that work even?
