But my plastidip is so dank bruhh

Oddly enough my first post was my build thread. And my second picture involved running boards... no plastidip though

I dont particularly mind these build threads, most of the time they just wither out and die. Life would be much easier if everyone did what is necessary, like search before they feel the hypnotic draw of making another thread about duratracs.

I would say all the threads you make are informative. Even your wifes build thread has a nugget in it about 4th gen wheels and tundra brakes (maybe I'm making shit up) and thats one more piece of info than most of the ones were talking about here.

i try to post all of my shit i do with my 4runner in mine. I only made it so i wouldnt make multiple threads because it gets annoying. If people want to read through it they can otherwise it stays back 4-5 pages.

I was on the forum for like 9 months before I made a build thread. And even still I haven't done anything other than suspension and tires.

My favorites are the, "I'm starting a build thread, but I'm busy right now so no info and no pics"... then a week later there's a pic of the running boards removed.

So umm I have a build but my running boards are still on...

But only because the bolts are rusted and rounded and I don't have anything to cut them off with at the moment.

TCMach, I definitely try. I've always made it a point to not start threads just for the hell of it.

Downpour, that guys thread was ridiculous. I was happy that people flamed him a little bit.

HHIRunner, I checked out your thread and it definitely qualifies as a build. Nice rig.

This is what I'm talking about right here, though... Case in point!

    welcome

    welcome

    blah blah blah....

    /thread.

I've got $20 that says he never gets past the head unit and subwoofers. No build thread needed.

Oh, and he wants all terrain tires, but is not sure what size/brand... guess what the second thread he starts will be titled?

To be fair, Singtoe (V8 3rd gen) still has his running boards on

I'm just gonna start another "how many miles are on your 4runner?" thread, right above the "how many miles are on your 4runner?" thread LOL

    Thanks man.

I would totally remove my running boards, and I've actually tried a few times (hence the rounded bolts) but the amount of rust on those mounts is just ridiculous, and it doesn't help that I don't have anything to cut them off with.
