Ive been reading about the infamous taco lean, mine however is a lot worse than others. I sit 2" lower in the front on driver side. The truck has 250k and what appeared to be original shocks and springs in the front. I figured that was the problem. I replaced shocks and springs with oem setup, it raised it up but it still sits nearly 2" lower on driver side when measuring from ground to the fender and top of tire to fender. What could be my problem?? Thanks

Sounds to me like you have some serious issues here... Did you purchase the truck this way? You already replaced the shock and spring? Is there any other damage to control arms or anything? 2" is alot, that's not sag it's something major wrong there.

    bent frame, ripped coil bucket.

Did you make sure the rear leaf springs were straight and not bent either?

I would really start investigating to see if there are any signs it has been in a collision or something of the sorts. If you haven't already look at the vehicle history report.

    There could be frame damage....

Make the following measurements and compare:

    1. ground to lower ball joint (each side)
    2. ground to CENTER of front control arm adjustment bolt (both sides)
    3. Do this for front AND rear control arm bolts.
    4. ground to frame at crossmember. (both sides)
    5. ground to center of the front leaf spring mounting bolt (both sides)
    6. ground to center of the rear leaf spring shackle bolts (both sides, and both at leaf spring, and at frame attachment for shackle)
Post your findings. A weak leaf spring in the rear can cause a front shift. A stiff/binding lower control arm bolt can cause one side to be lower as well. Also a twisted frame.
