Yeah, me and my buddies are big into spearfishing and the shorter one just got back from Mex where her shot a tanker Wahoo. My other buddy went out with a couple guys this morning to El Centro and they each almost got their limits on doves and one guy got a duck.

Nice! I just started getting into spearfishing this summer as my Dad had a old pole spear he let me have, but never got much time in the water since my buddy always bails. He is the same one who wants to go hunting, but same story there...

I tried and got a $4k bill. Not gonna rack up more bills, just gotta cut that sucker open and go for it. 3 other doctors didnt want to touch it.

Trust me I know all about it and I am keeping it as clean as one can in this situation. But who is gonna pay the $15K this thing will probably cost, thats bullshit and I aint doing it. I can monitor for the infection getting worse and keep draining it to reduce the chance of poisoning.

Its getting better but not out of the woods yet. The inflammation is under control, no redness or pain.

Yeah I do, but he doesnt want to do anything due to liability as do my 3 nurse friends. On my own, cant blame them, its beyond their scope anyway, but they would likely do a better job than I have!

Its getting better though, hope it continues to keep doing the same. I drained it a few days ago and its still totally flat with no swelling whatsoever, no redness and pretty much no pain. So these are all good signs.

Every time it swells up I go into the same incision I cut a while back to reopen the hole. its only the surface that hurts to cut, once past the first couple layers it just slips right in and then I can push the blade in about 1/2" or deeper and then massage the fluid out till its only blood and or plasma.

Frequency is getting longer so that means its getting better, but very slowly. Thats fine as long as it doesnt start to take a downward spiral. But I know enough to keep an eye on it and keep it clean and as fluid free as possible without making things worse, I think I have done a pretty good job so far.

The hardest part was the new incision that was in a spot over 2" from the original surgery, boy is it hard to cut deep enough to get that for down, took me 2 attempts, first one was a limp wristed attempt after the skin was cut I was able to come back and really open it up, I couldnt believe how muck fluid and bits of Yucca plant came out, it was unbelievable!

Now it seems to have really calmed down and now I dont see much debris coming out, so hopefully its starting to heal and I can stop the self-mutilation sessions!

SO thats my progress report for anyone who may be even slightly interested, lol.

I would have rather had a 16 penny nail stuck in there than this damn plant, organic stuff is bad when it goes in, it has to rot away inside to be carried away in your bloodstream very slowly. Or you gotta milk it out as in my case since it is too big and deep for the body to do on its own without my surgical prowess!

Yeah Jason. Was at Holmes camp and cruised to the playground at TH then across the road then I hauled ass back to get my trailer. Saw a flipped baja bug on pole line. Looked like a hard hit
