Stereo headunit, all new door speakers, 2 amps, and 10' sub...so far Black bullbar MotoMetals and 285/70/17 Duratracs. 3" OME springs in front and aal in back with tsb springs Black UWS tool box 5100's all around Plasti-dipped evo front end Fog light anytime mod OEM steps (for sale) HID fogs 55w 3000k HID heads 35 w 6000k "Cool white" dome & map lights
    Can anyone tell me what's the best chip out there for performance and gas milage. Also what experiences you've had with them. I've got an 08 TRD sport and am looking at putting a chip on it. Thanks for the info.

    Don't waster your money on a "plug and play" chip. You can get some results from a MAF sensor calibrator to take advantage of things like CAI and exhaust upgrades.

    My tacoma is bone-stock performance wise. Still wouldn't go with the chip?

    Those "Performance Chips" are snake oil. They dont work. You would want a URD MAF calibrator. There is another one out there, but I cant remember the name of it.

    I pretty much agree with this reasoning, although one could make the same argument against a high-flow air filter or lighter weight pulleys.
