Well, I'm all out CrossFit gay (actually a CrossFit coach!). My clients gladly pay that much a month because I provide them with diet/nutrition plans, solid programming, and a community atmosphere. All of which are proven to give results (at least at my box).

I do hate when people try to imitate or be like CrossFit. If you're gonna go all out, then go all out. Don't go to "non-CrossFit" gym and piss people off. Often times it's instances like that that gives CrossFit a bad name.

All that being said, I just want to go ahead and say that I understand CrossFit is NOT for everyone. I also don't think CrossFit is the be-all end-all answer to health/fitness/muscle development/etc. I started off loving bodybuilding just like most everybody. I still do. I, personally, say to each his own. Just make sure you do it in the right environment.

Crossfit has it's place in fitness. In fact, it's more about fitness then going into a gym and lifting weights for aesthetic appearance or to lose weight.

Go head to head with a Crossfitter, you'll hang your head in shame.

One dude at my gym isn't a nemesis but he annoys me no doubt. I typically go at 5:15AM but sometimes I go in the afternoon and this guy is there. First time he was there when I was there I couldn't stop laughing. He's ripped I'll give him that and he's workin hard., but damn, dude makes the loudest strangest noises. The first time I heard it I didn't see who was doing it and I thought someone was doing karate. "Yittzzzowwww" "Tchssssshhhhheeeeee". The few times I have been there when he is he's made the noises the entire workout.

Then another time him and his workout buddy were on a bench next to us, not sure what they were doing, can't imagine it was flyes since it was a lot of weight, and I had my back turned to them and the one guy drops 80lb DBs from shoulder(seated) height and scared the shit out of me, let alone almost hit my feet. It pisses me off when guys drop weights that much. If you can't keep them under control through the entire motion and the entire set then either lift less or get a spotter. No one think you're any stronger because you drop weights doosh, you just look like a bigger doosh.

old enough to read...old enough to blee....nvm

My pet peeves are people slamming weights on the ground, excessive grunting, people leaving their trash on the floor, people treating the bathroom like a truck stop bathroom, spitting dip in the trashcans, and not re-racking the weights...being at the gym 12 hrs a day, shit starts getting on your nerves lol

    :D

ignore him, he doesn gym well with others

Exactly the reason I don't make noises, even though lately they have crept out of me on the last few negative sets I do with my new regime.

WTF? Spit in the sauna?? That's nasty. One reason I switched from big box gym (LA Fitness) to a smaller gym (Anytime Fitness) near my house. I used the pool at LA but when I realized I could do w/o the pool I bolted. I am less than a mile from the gym now so I shower at home. No more locker room nastiness and WAY WAY less people and dooshes
