BIGFOOT, Aliens, and The Supernatural.

My two best friends were coming home from a night class in rural Mississippi. As they were cruising down a back road they both saw a figure in a cape on an embankment on the shoulder of the road. They described it as a dark figure about 4 feet high with pointed ears. The one driving slowed down as they approached it. When they got next to it, it turned and ran up the embankment into the darkness. They said they didn't even acknowledge it until about 15 later when one looked at the other and asked "did you see that?" The other replied he had, but thought he imagined it. These guys don't really sensationalize things and haven't made anything like this up before. I think you can tell when your friend are bs'ing and whether they actually saw something or not. I believe that they were sincere in what they believed.

 

While doing some cardio years ago I saw what looked like a glowing white statue around dusk. Didn't give it much thought and didn't get a great look but it hit me at one point that it was odd because it wasn't Halloween or anything. Never saw it again.

That's story kind of a disappointment. Not nearly as exciting as the time I was doing full out cardio and nearly stepped on a opossum that was only playing dead. I think I literally defied gravity and peed a little because that thing had a mean ass look in it's face and they got some sharp teeth.

Thanks for the contribution and your thoughtful insight. I believe certain people have certain gifts etc. I do think we all need to be cautious of those claiming to have gifts, somehow I think if it's meant for someone to cross your path that has a gift, it will happen. Otherwise you risk being lead astray by false prophecies or other things, potentially. The world we live in and who we are as humans is very dynamic and spiritual, at least I believe that. If I'm not mistaken The Native Americans used to and still may say, This life is the illusion.

Sometimes when I'll go to a museum. It will spark tons of thoughts on things. Like dinosaurs for instance, it's crazy to think of those roaming the earth. Makes me wonder about some creatures weve never seen or heard of, that have existed or may exist etc, and how that plays into everything, maybe even on the spiritual side and what people like guywithcamera have mentioned.
I just think things are way deeper than most care to think about or are open to think about. And Space, I start hearing things about space and it blows my mind. That's why I have a hard time understanding some who just out right think there's nothing beyond life when you die etc etc. Seems like common sense would tell you otherwise, but everybody has a right to there own way of thinking.

That's another thing, plenty of people haven't had something directly happen to them. But I'd say a lot of people at least know of someone who has. Specially like you said, when it's a friend, specially one you've known for a while and trust. What reason do they have to tell you a bunch of BS. I'd say either risk having you think there crazy or trust that you'll hopefully believe them, when they tell you they saw something they don't know how to explain.

Was there enough sun to maybe be reflecting off it? Or was it totally different type light?

Second part funny, opussums do look crazy when they shine there teeth etc.

I'd find it hard to trust her, she's got the shine eyed look, watch out for those. As long as you can taste the bait, but don't bite the hook, you're cool. Idk maybe I'm wrong about her.

 

Honestly, I hardly remember. I just remember seeing something and then it clicking a lot later that it was out of place and never seeing it again. The opossum incident was scary.

 

Let's here some more Bigfoot stories. I'm enjoying the ghost stories though.

 

So, my brother turned my basketball into a "joint hitter". Joint goes inside of ball...squeeze and shotgun the thc straight to your brain. Anyways, one night we go to the park with three friends and decide to try it out. We got completely annihilated. So were sitting on top of the kids jungle gym area....around 1am...no kids around....all of a sudden we all see these black shadow figures literally walking around/up towards us. I admit we were all completely blown out of our minds, but we couldn't deny these shadows being there. I recall seeing at least 10-15 at a time. Needless to say a group of twenty somethings, like little girls climbed to the top point of the jungle gym till the shadows decided to leave. We watched them for at least ten minutes circle us, walks towards and away. I never used the basketball again.

The fact that im telling the story lends no credibility to the story. But really, I'd typically agree with you but five of us were seeing the same things at the same time.

Another time....not blitzed....my buddy, cousin and I went to a home dubbed the "Houdini house in sherman oaks, ca. We had heard so many stories so we decided to check it out. This house was in a prominent part of town but hadnt been lived in for over six years. Huge house on a nearly 4 acre property. So we jump the gate...trek up the 1/4 mile driveway and come up to the house. Its boarded up...no way to get in. We spot a staircase in the backyard leadinv up to the top of the mountain behind the house. The sun is just avout to set when we get to the top. As we get to the last set of stairs we notice a figure...dressed like a cowboy...cowboy hat, duster, boots....kinda out of place for sherman oaks. He's walking away from us at an angle holding what looks like a long stick in his hands. Were peekink over the edge so he doesn't see us....all of a sudden he stops, head turns, body turn, doesn't say a word...just starts calmly striding towards us. The three of us ran faster than Ussein Bolt at a track meet down the stairs jumping every 5 steps and bolted down the driveway. We heard crazy stories of this house from our older brothers/friends. After nearly 8 years on the market with no buyers the house was torn down.

 

Reminds me of a similar experience I had twice. Where I live there is a road (Pollard Road) that on one end, ends at a road with a sharp 90 degree turn (Stokes Road). If you're coming up stokes road heading up to where it ends on SC Highway 14, you will pass Pollard road on your right. There is also a house with a wooden fence that is right next to the sharp turn. From my POV, the house is to my left and the fence hides the 90 degree corner from my view.

On those two occasions, I'm driving on Pollard Road up to where it ends on Stokes road. As I'm coming up to the stop sign at the end, I notice a car coming up stokes road doing the 35 MPH speed limit. The car dissapears from view due to the fence. I slow down as I'm coming up to the stop sign, expecting the car to pass by.

This is where things get weird.

When I get to the stop sign, no car passes by. There are no cars to my left either (moving or stationary). The car literally dissapeared from thin air. It couldn't have turned onto another street since I never saw the car slow down. There's two streets before the corner, but you have slow down A LOT, or else you will understeer into someone's front lawn.

This happened around 4-5:00 PM

Does seem seamless. However I feel that it could be fake because (if I'm not mistaken) the paranormal show up differently through a camera lense. Or is that just flash photography?

 

Not 100% sure but I think thats in photography, with video you see it as it appears.. Maybe Guywithcamera will chime in

 

Man, so i caught up reading and really enjoyed seeing that many others have shared similar experiences but now im freaked out, i sat in the basement for 30 minutes smoking my ecig and reading this, come upstairs and hear a faint sound of a woman moaning and im like fuck no seriously ive lived here for 6 years and the only presence is an old spirit probly the building owner, which never disturbs his tenants or appears, just the sensation and picking up vibes, anyway it was just the dumb neighbor having sex she likes to get loud i guess lol. And now its midnight and i want to go to the alley to open my new 4 ton floor jack but there is no electricity out there and the city light is burnt out, and there have also been several attempted breakins and thefts in the garages of my other neighbors on the street and all im armed with is a headlamp and a pocket knife lol, think ill grab the gun to be safe, again tho im more worried about physical harm from a smart deranged human who can stalk and rationalize how to dismember me than any animal or even spirit. Not that spirits dont scare me, but i have yet to experience one violent towards me. Aliums on the other hand, i beleive they can be killed, but who wants to fuck with crazy space technology beings, i feel like if they show themselves that they have no good intentions, the good aliens if there are any know they need to remain concealed to help protect us from the bad aliens.

To 4wd: i am genuinely intrigued by your accounts with native american paranormal stuff, they are such an ancient race and have looked to the stars for countless ages, my parents are way big into native indians too and have the big novels about tecumseh like "the dark and bloody river" "frontiersman" etc which are all true accounts taken from journals of that time about the ohio valley indian tribes. My dad likes to think his spirit was a native american in the past, and maybe why he has always been fearless completely especially in pitch black woods for his whole life i guess, getting off topic he was sitting watching the bonfire die out alone late at night enjoying the solitude of nature, and he said he looked up and there were a bunch of "people" sitting around the fire with him chatting and laughing and enjoying themselves, like real old timer folks. He wasnt afraid tho he says it felt like it was old friends or ancestors in his presence which is pretty cool. I guess they kinda faded away then. He did alot of meditating too when he was younger and practiced kungfu for spiritual and physical health, i guess several times he "stepped out of his body" which would appear to be sitting there and he could see and move around the room, i think that type of meditation could be similar to when one dreams or astral travels and has the sensation of falling back into their body. I have felt that sensation countless times as drifting to sleep but accidentally waking a little and feeling like im falling from the air, but it is comforting and i usually try to focus on getting back to sleep to travel wherever my mind needs to go that night, whether it is a time to heal and visit dead loved ones or to just explore, my favorite are when i see and talk to my 2 grandmothers and grandfather, i remember last time i saw them i was so surprised and i ran out and hugged her so hard and told her i loved her, but she was busy and it was time to move on, those are good release dreams

 

Fuckers... So now im out here, its dark and i didnt grab the gun, standing still in a dark garage watching quiet enough a little squirrel walked up so i spooked him, at least if the animals arent weary then things are okay, its when they go silent something is close

 

Meh, don't stress on it mike, that gun would be pretty useless I'd think...
