I have to say I'm impressed by the driving I've seen up here. In the SE schools would close down for the "chance" of snow, my kids were pretty pissed during our first snow here that school was still open.

haha yea they never close the school anymore. We have some late starts sometimes due to the kids way out of town having to wait a little longer for buses..but takes a LOT to shutdown schools anymore in wy i feel like.

Idaho is the same way. We literally don't shut down for snow anymore because each county has the equipment to clear like 5 ft of snow off the roads just as easy as they clear a few inches. What we do cancel school for is if it is below -20F while the kids are waiting for the school buses in the morning. They don't want kids to get hypothermia and shit.

I'm not doing anything Sunday if you want to stay for another day. We could go to Lake Channel and hit the dunes or something. haha

Just go drive ur truck then park it in there for an hour or so before you want to be in there. That's what I do.

By the way, I have a couple of nice queen size air mattresses if your wife says it will be too cold for the RTT ;) One is single high and one double high. I can turn the heat up in the living room so it is nice and warm if you sleep on the air mattress. haha

I also have a spare bed in the spare bedroom, but it is only a twin...
