I've never had a problem getting my oil levels spot on by putting in 5.5 quarts. To each their own, but Toyota spec with filter is 5.5.

The top one is the listing for drain and fill with filter change as Toyota describes it.

My understanding from all of my reading on here is that the flip kit will decrease the payload of the springs so the Expos are a good choice since they have such a high payload to begin with.

The catch is you are a Reg Cab and may be much too light unless you have a bed cage and such like Colin and carry a lot of gear in the bed regularly. So I wouldn't just jump on the list I gave. There are very few Reg Cabs on here and even less who mod them for crawling so I know very little about them...

Unless you are SUA it wont benefit you, everyone wants as much droop while not realizing how important up travel is.

with just the bed rack and tent, the standards would suit you well. you'd need to start carrying a lot of gear with you to need the expos

I tend to agree. lot of work for a little benefit. a rebuilt shackle hanger that keeps the current orientation, but changes the geometry and strengthen the system overall would be a better setup for you. probably be what I end up going with.

I don't think much if any up travel is lost, you just put the leafs into more neg arch. IIRC the Expos handle neg arch pretty well though and that shouldn't be a big issue.

to be fair, the type of wheeling kase's truck will see really doesn't need much up travel. drop is definitely king for his purposes.

That is correct yes, so the shock hoops allow for a 12" shock, the expos can handle that droop fine, may not even use the whole shock not 100% sure, so say you do a shackle flip, then whats the point if you dont have enough shock for that droop?

And i crawl just as much if not more than when i am eating whoops, and have noticed better traction since i have so much up-travel now
