    something's wrong....

    i have a little over 20k on mine. lots of towing (6500 lb powerboat), and even more wheeling. and other than the normal wearing down, their surface is perfect.

    Do you run through gritty mud? I'm assuming they're getting chewed up from the red dirt mud we have here.

    i never go "mudding", but mud is unfortunately unavoidable when you wheel. the stuff i ran through up north (VA, MD, PA) wasn't too gritty, but the stuff in florida was terrible. essentially sandy clay, so it's like sandpaper that sticks to everything.

    Yep - I hate mud, and avoid it as much as possible. But wheeling in the Carolinas and TN, you have to go through it often. Our mud is red clay based, so very gritty compared to the northeast mud (and FL).

    yeah, virginia only has a little of the red clay, but florida is full of it. nasty stuff. worst part about florida is that it also has a lot of limestone, so when that dries on your truck, it's essentially turned to concrete.....

    I just bedded my green stuff pads it feels awesome to be able to stop again lol, night and day from stock, yellow stuff pad is a more aggressive is it not irc. My tuner racer buddies were asking why didnt i go with yellow, green stuff was specified for a heavy truck. I got the green stuff 7000 series vs the 6000

    slots and drilled rotors your asking to have pebbles stuck somewhere. My factory brakes work excellent and I wont stray from the Toyota parts for this kind of stuff. Seems like some of you are just blasting through pads.

    What are people running for fenders? Minus fg, im talking bush wacker type stiff to help comer the width of the tires. Cause locally cops love wide profile vehicles with not tire protection..:/ mud flaps included

    Call Carbotech and order a set of racing pads tell them what you have and they will send some kick ass pads that will stop quickly and eat rotors yearly. Use cheap rotors and aggressive pads. Problem solved

    I'm getting my my fenders cut next week! I am sure I could do it, but a family friend is doing it at his autobody shop. They do great work and I trust them to keep the lines looking good. I just know myself and the lines wouldn't be right. o____0.

    Next I am paying my friend for the 35's, picking up an UCA and should be good to go.
