Also, in telling them that you want your lawyer, tell them that you will sign a complaint after speaking with your lawyer. Saying it this way establishes and reinforces the fact that you were the victim. This is very important!

    FYI -

    http://www.atg.wa.gov/ConcealedWeapons/Reciprocity.aspx#.Uo7CzmQwYmc

Certainly not all fifty -- but then nothing is....

And here is OR...and note that OR has no reciprocity with other States....

    http://licenseinfo.oregon.gov/?fuseaction=license_seng&link_item_id=14705

"Generally there is no reciprocity with other states concealed handgun licenses. If you want to carry a concealed handgun in Oregon, you will need an Oregon Concealed Handgun License."

    OR is interesting that way...

Utah has reciprocity with 33 states for conceal carry. Requires a class like OR. One class can be used for both. You can apply for Utah thru the mail. But OR, you have to apply in person.

Ahh, this was a good discussion. Never hurts to get good info out there. We don't want to see people get themselves into trouble.

If you need one for Oregon Sheriff Palmer in John Day will get you squared away. He has 25-30 out of staters a week show up, and it helps out my broke ass county.

I don't know that you can do that. Maybe? I would call Palmer and ask. I always thought you had to apply within the county you lived in for Oregon (unless an out of state resident).

Yes, but that's different from getting an Oregon CHL in another county. Who knows. I refuse to get one myself. I was born with the right to defend my life, and don't need fingerprints or some card to prove that right. I also live on the free side of the state where people still have gun racks in their pickups with AK's hanging in them, and guns don't freak out the cops like in Pdx.

That's what the 2nd Amendment is all about. It acknowledges and defends this pre-existing right. Some people in this country are confused and think that the 2nd provides this right; and they are flat out wrong. They are the same people that want to take our bangbangs away from us.

Did you know that the toothbrush was invented in "Oreeegohn" as you call it? If it had been invented in Washington, we would have called it the teethbrush.

Not sure on company policies off the top of my head. Worst case if I have a new gun is that I keep it locked in my truck while I am in the party.

Thanks for info. I'll have to look it over while I am more awake. It's been a long day. My boss picked me up at my house at 6am, and I didn't get back home until 7:30 PM.

I started the topic with my bragging about getting a new gun soon.

I firmly believe in my right to bear arms, and regardless of government stipulations, if I felt that mine or any of my families' lives were in danger, and I had a firearm and could do something to protect/save them, then hot lead would fly.

Alright Cody here's a better idea of what i have in mind.
    - This way i will be able to put the CVT tent on the "dark blue" section above the tool box. This will be a flat surface unlike the visual image and will also have to extend more towards the tailgate (I'm not sure how big the surface must be for the tent). That section needs to be high enough for the box lid to fully open. This will benefit my visibility as my rear window view will be clear.
-The rack above the cab will be used for extra gear (coolers, chairs, gas cans etc), I'd put a yakima "like" rack up there. One issue is i need the rack to have enough strength to hold the weight of whatever i put up there. I want it to sit a few inches above the cab with ZERO points touching.
-I would like to keep the spare out of the bed for more space, this will most likely result in a tire carrier tailgate or rear bumper for the 37" meat.
-CONS to this idea will be a big ass heavy rack. Most of the weight will be in the front/mid section. Given the SAS height change and added weight i'll be VERY top heavy.
-PRO, i'll have a shit ton of storage and have a bad ass setup. IMO :D
