Very true! When I was up in the mountains at 8,000 feet I only could get 16-17mpg on flat road. So much less air, which effects the MAF sensor and such.

Yeah they are great for the outdoorsman but I wish I had a bigger gas tank haha.

I'm waiting to close on my house and send it to thespeedlab to be rebuilt so it's new when I put it on. Also going to overhaul my motor when I install it so it's like a new motor.

I'm hoping the SC will help with mileage. Once I've had my fun and can stay out of the skinny pedal.

But think about this, with him being at 6k-10k elevation the supercharger won't add as much performance and lessen his mpgs.

So he should just sell it to me for cheap and I'll put it to good use :D

86k on my motor. I just want to prolong the motor. I drive it like it's stolen and that's without a SC on it. I drive mostly highway so cruise set at 85 most of the time.

Less air would mean less fuel. It's thinner air so it doesn't create as much combustion, which means less power. The engine is working harder and using more fuel.

I just felt like typing something...

Oh I would not keep the runner if I wasn't going to boost it. I've driven them here and they haul ass still. This is the longest stage of my life that I haven't owned a boosted vehicle haha.

With that I'm passing out. Gotta wake up early for daddy day care.

I was thinking supercharger but I don't want to run premium. It's 40 cents or more per gallon here. Not really worth it since I don't drive hard anyway. I will regear to 4.56 with 33s and call it good.

Eh, if he sold it to somebody that will take care of it and drive it then good on him. Better to be driven than to sit in a driveway.
