oh come on guys..haha they are dogs...haha mine don't even live in the house..they only come in one room on cold cold days and they never get to sleep the whole night in there. Have a little shelter tied to a non heated garage..granted..they live in the shop with us when we work too..but still..

    haha

plus i let em run the trails we drive most the time. just gotta watch the foot pads. THey rip on the rocks and they will run them raw..almost happened to me twice now.

I cant do that to my pup or my fat lab lol, but im thinking about getting some plywood and a jigsaw and building a platorm in the back so they have a bit more room and dont have to uncomfortably lay in the back foot wells! you wouldnt happen to have a layout or jig for your rear platform would ya lumpskie?

Haha! I know... Blackdawg, we're pathetic!
So, I'm lazy... I just took a piece of plywood that was laying around the house and cut it to fit. I want to say it's around 2' wide. Basically, I just put the seats up, extend the cup holder section for stability on the passenger side and keep my spare tire pump in the driver side. So far, I haven't had an issue but my dogs might be smaller than yours. I've got a 70 lb lab mix and a 30lb australian cattle dog mix.I can get you better dimensions or pics if you want.

Wheeled for 7 hours yesterday, and everything held together! I even used the hoop on my slider for the first time!

    ^Thanks man.

Yeah, it's crazy. SteezeMcQueen, NorCalPr (TTORA), NWiTaco(TTORA), Jerry and me have all had the exact same problem with these bearings. NorCalPR found a Conrad style bearing that should fix the problem, but I've already replaced mine with another Marlin. I guess we'll see how long it lasts, LoL.

I tried my Duratracs on ice today and they did pretty good! I can't wait to get them in the deep stuff...

Yeah you do! My KM2s were a handful even with the center lugs siped. Do you get much snow down there?

We got snow about 4-5 times with the most being about 3 feet last year. But that was a mild Winter. The year before that they got upwards of 5 feet in some spots.... They're very good about keeping the roads clear though, plus I drive less than 1/2 a mile at 30mph to get to work.

Wow 5 ft is no joke... we don't get that out here. I get excited for a 2 ft snow. I guess I was just a pansy with my KM2s lol.

Yeah, but that was one of the worst winters they had in quite a while. So I don't expect to see that while I'm here haha

I do know that when my KM2's were brand new and aired up to 32 psi they couldn't barely do a thing in hard pack haha

Yeah, I'll probably just keep them at a lower psi when it snows... Like 18 or 20.

Yeah, sometimes I miss my KM2s in the rocks... but I sure don't miss them driving to work at 5:30am on packed snowy/icy roads. I never aired down on the street though.... I should have tried that.

Blackdawg: I wonder how your MTRs are gonna do in packed snow...
