Sometimes I wish I would have kept my camper she'll instead of getting a toolbox. But I use that toolbox so much!

Yeah I have mine packed with a bunch of shit but I hate sacrificing nearly 2 feet of my bed space.. Plus I figure I can fit most of the shit in a duffle bag and keep it behind my drivers seat. I just need to really figure out where to store the jumper cables that isn't a huge PITA to get to

I'd just throw it at the top of the duffle bag or in one of the storage compartment in the truck.

Just go to Lowes and hit up the spray paint isle.

    X2

Eh, I'd sell my topper in a sec if it wasn't for my dog. The bed of my truck is her area lol.

    Mark...where...are...the...bumper...pics? ;)

You suppose to get it before boot?

Man, the storage behind my backs seat is awesome. I have jumper cables, propane bottles, propane blowtorch, oil, a tool box, paper towels, ziplocks, my jack, first aid kit, a light up frisbee, 4 disc golf discs, and probably other things I'm missing.

...but my bed is only 5' long :pout:

Okay well I should rephrase, I hate the driver storage bin cause my sub is on top of it

The other one, eh I'll figure out how to put it to good use.

True, but dog can ride in the back just as easily, unless it's raining then get a carrier so it'll be dry.
Fack man you're asking ME that?!
Ordered/paid for it on the 17th of August so the estimated 3 month fab time was on the 17th of this month... who really knows

Alright alright alright maybe I'll give the storage bins a 2nd chance...
Psh I'd like a 01-04 DC now that I think about it. So nice to have the rear seating/space

Haha, my dog is not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Fairly confident she would try to jump out and break another leg. She's already had 3 surgeries, I'm officially done fixing this dog.

    Canopy stays.

Yeah, she's my "special" friend. :D

Unrelated, where did you buy your full-size spare? I'm thinking about just buying a Treadwright 285.

Well funny thing is I have a 15" factory spare rim, so I just got a 32x11.5x15 mounted under the truck. Not gonna really worry bout it until I get my rear bumper/tire swing before I get a full size 33" back there

I'd just buy it used from Craigslist/Used Tire Business... just make sure it's less than (I think) years old, if it's older then nobody (reputable) will mount it onto your rim

Threw the fender flares back on, wasn't groovin' on how far the wheel backspace was looking. Not bad now.

    Roof Top Tend Posts/Pictures/Ideas
    :anonymous:
Just putting this here in case I ever want to get one in the future.

Link to CVT Roof Top Tent website:

Link to Youtube of Blackdawg setting up RTT:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mF9mX_F_X2I

All great points, to ALMOST end my curiosity. I get the pros (being off the ground, comfort, portability, helps convince women ;)) and the cons (weight, drag, having it secure while DD).
My last question is about the interior:
What's the "person" rating for these tents? I know there are a few different models of the CVT RTT, I would guess by pictures they would classify it as a 3-4 person tent? --> 2 comfortably :notsure:

    Pictures for comparison:
