The wife and I were on our way back from Seattle and saw this in the same location. Told the her I should take a picture of it for Tacoma World.
She laughed at me and called me a stalker!:spy:

Has anyone in here installed a viper alarm? I just received a remote start kit in the mail today and I am looking to install it soon but have never done it before. I have done a decent amount of automotive electronics but never a remote start. I am studying but HOLY CRAP there is a lot of wires:goingcrazy:

I'd say this thread was the best help but its still a lot of info to cover:
    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/audio-video/252032-how-install-viper-5704-alarm-remote-start.html

I am getting the truck ready for the winter. Remote start and heated leather seats. I really need to stop spending money but I just picked up another OEM fog switch that I would like to hook some LED or Hellas up to.

I want to do this as well. I agree - a lot of work! I wish Toyota would just offer this as a factory option like many of their other vehicles. I would have paid for it. Let me know how it works out for you. :)

Badass video! I'm planning on bringing my go pro to stick on my stinger this weekend and trying to convince my brother/copilot to film with a handheld for all the guys going this weekend!

Couldn't edit it as well as that though... Great job man!

Yeah, let's hope its clear skies with minimal wind! I'll haul all my gear in hopes for the worse :)

Good to know! I've been to Big Bear in SoCal and Timberline Lodge/Mt Hood Meadows up here. Can't wait!

Hope there's enough snow to open more lift by that time comes. From the looks on their site, only two are open.

Thanks! I normally do metal, electronica, or some other random stuff. I figured Cash embodied the mountain trying to " cut us down".

Next time ill make sure to get some quad copter footage!

I might be out for saturday... it's crunch time on the job I'm on, home owners are moving in next week and we still have a bunch of work left. I have a strong feeling I'm going to be asked to work Saturday, and it's hard to turn down money... but if I turn out to be all good, might be down for both days. Any ideas in location? If I make the run Saturday, not really trying to go back to the same spot.

    lol
The pain killers they give you really aren't that strong, mostly anti-inflammatory/tylenol with probably like 5mg of actual narcotic

    Good luck though!
It's not as bad as they all say

You can mark me down as a for sure! I've got a few straps and chains and a air compressor that can be used on the trail. Will I be fine without a winch or hi lift and no CB radio?

There are always some without winches, CBs, and hi lifts. Bring what you have, including a long handled shovel to dig out with, and if you have a scrap piece of plywood, that can be useful, but not a full sheet. Plywood can be used under tires or a hi lift on top of the snow. If you don't have a piece of plywood, don't worry about it, but do bring the tow straps, chains, and compressor.

I am also one of those types without the winch, CB, or hi lift, but that isn't what stops me from getting out. My problem is more of the other plans I have or lack of money.
