Wicca/wiccan is traditional "white magic" & they live their lives in tune with the natural world, nothing at all like Black magic/witchcraft/satanist & no you can't really throw paganism into that mix of evil...

They say that EVERY religion is pagan until at some point it's deemed legitimate, who the hell determines that? no clue

The problem with religion (organized) is that at some point it melts down to a "My God is better than your God." Pissin' match, then you end up with the crusades & that results in ones religious beliefs/groups being short a few members after the smoke clears..

The truist religion is the one in your heart.... Try to live your life with love & compassion, do good things not bad, recognizing the differences between right & wrong, more common sense than anything else, hell I dont need to read a book or screw up a good sunday mornings sleeping in to do that..

I've heard of some real bad stuff happening from people practicing Wicca/Witchcraft. Stuff's bad news.. Seems like people get lured into things like that, thinking they're messing with "good energies" etc, but so easily get sucked right into to the deeper darker side, having know clue what they're messing with, and before they know it bad things are happening.. I believe that's one way things work to "get people", in a bad way. Just my opinion.

Yeah Ouija, bad. Speaking of it, makes you wonder who all ever thought it would be a good idea to sell that in toy stores to children, that's what I wana know, what's the story behind that.

    Ha! you got that right....:)

WE haven't decided anything, discussions of religious or political genre are against TW's terms of use... but at some point so called religion has to figure into the mix (the whole good spirit/bad spirit/God/Satan/Bigfoot/etc:)

Yeah you get back what you put out, just not stuff to fuck with unless you really understand it, there is power out there, more than you would think, focusing it can be done, for good or ill, I've done both but I would stick to the former thank you very much:p

Never understood why the fuck they sold those to kids

So you guys can think of this what you want, i really don't care but I believe it worked. I don't practice magic of any kind but understand enough of it that I chose to do a casting ritual three times over the same person (my ex), I wanted something very painful but not debilitating (she was raising our son), and not fatal. Focus is the key here, you have to focus like you have never thought possible, it's not about reciting mumbo-jumbo, it's about aligning and focusing energies, well, you could call it coincidence, but she got kidney stones shortly thereafter, was it me? Who knows, but that was enough, I never did one of those again :)

I have a lot of stories I could write about possible ghost sightings and situations I have been part of, or heard about from family members. First off, I don't believe in ghosts. Until I see one with my own eyes, I will always just say "its possible they exist".

Growing up, we have always thought the houses we lived in were haunted. During the summer, my mom would take us kids to my grandmas house in California for a few weeks, and Dad would stay behind cause he had to work. One year after we came back home, dad told us of something that had happened the night before. While watching TV in the living room late at night, he heard a noise coming from the master bedroom at the rear of the house. As he made it back to see what was going on, he saw that the noise was my mom's hairdryer running in their bathroom. He also saw our cat in the bathroom, so he thought maybe she had been walking on the counter and bumped it or something. Pops turned the hairdryer off, yelled and the cat, and walked back out to the living room to watch TV. About 5 mins later, he said the same noise came back, had the balls to walk back there, and found the dryer running again with the switch in the on position.
I remember my dad having goosebumps and his voice was breaking when he was telling us the story. I also remember him showing us the dryer and feeling the switch to make sure it wasn't loose and clicked into place between on and off. My dad is the type to never really get scared and always thought it was his Dad or Mom trying to talk to him(us). Ill never forget that. That old house always made weird noises and you heard things in the hall way late at night. Getting goose bumps right now thinking about it. Might call Dad tomorrow and ask him about that.

The house my parents currently live in (and I lived my teenage years in), I believe is haunted. When ever someone walks up stairs, especially in my parents room or the hallway, you can hear the footsteps and the creeks in the wood. There has been quite a few times, when there is nobody home and you hear footsteps up stairs in their bedroom. Not just creeking or cracking noises in the wood, but actual timed footsteps that sound exactly like someone is walking around up there. The dogs (who are not allowed upstairs) will wake up out of their sleep and run to the foot of the stairs and wait thinking my mom is coming down. If im there visiting and this happens when people are at work, I leave. I cant handle it. Scares the shit out of me!! The dogs have also been seen (including me) standing at the foot of the stairs looking up at the landing looking terrified, barking and growling at nothing. This will go on for 10mins. If you grab them and take them away, they come running right back to the same spot.

Im a very skeptical 32 year old guy and wouldn't make this stuff up. My dad claims he saw a woman in a white dress floating at the foot of his bed one night, and my sister says she saw a young girl sitting on the first stair of the staircase when she was over there one night feeding the parents dogs.

But like I said, I have never seen any thing in physical form so its hard for me to say I believe in ghosts, but im right on the line.

We have always thought it has something to do with an old piece of furniture that has been passed down from my dads family. We have always refered to it as "the antique". It holds alot of old family photos and papers from many years back. It has always been on display in our living rooms over the years, with a oval picture of my grandpa over it.

Just a couple of the many stories over the years.

Well after reading some stories I always notice whenever I go to funerals the sky is gray and overcast in the morning but in the afternoon the sun comes out. I guess I am the only one to notice this.

Not to call you a liar, but video CAN be tampered with using today's programs.

    http://www.ghosttheory.com/2009/03/05/detecting-video-fraud

With any video editing program such things can be easily faked - look at all the ones out there.

In Canada, if you call them Indians or Native Americans you are considered racist. The correct term is now First Nations. So naturally, I still call them Indians.

Edit:Looks like someone beet me to that point.

Not sure if this is religious or not and hope it doesn't cross any boundaries.

My brother is a Catholic priest. He was visiting last night and I asked him if he's ever performed an exorcism. I get the sense that he's a little skeptical of demon possession and things like that. He says that he's never performed an exorcism but shared two brief stories with me.

The first isn't as interesting. Being a priest he visits a lot of people in hospitals, nursing homes, and apparently mental hospitals as well. He was visiting this guy that he mentioned being a psychopath or something along those lines. He's been a priest for about 3 or 4 years so when he had a chance to recommend that someone more experienced handle this he did.

He tells me that a family asked him to bless their house because their daughter, who is autistic and keeps to herself, was playing with someone that wasn't there. He blessed the house and has been informed this hasn't happened again.

I forgot to ask him about the procedure for performing an exorcism. I think I asked in the past and it seems like I remember there being quite a bit bureaucracy involved. I don't think priests are permitted to exorcise demons because they are bored or just on a whim. Seems like there is paper work involved a few evaluations and what not.

Well I'm glad you're not calling me a liar, never said it was real , was just wondering if it IS real is all..

Haha , exactly, its all so stupid, thing is in the U.S. If we want to continue calling them native americans, then by common sense alone that makes ANYONE who was born on U.S. soil native americans ergo I'm a ative american, thats basically my point
