if you aren't going with air bumps, i'd say get a set up superbumps, and build your own mounts to get them sitting at the right height. odds are pretty low that they are perfect for your setup as they ship.

Wheelers offers some nice pre-made spacers now for super bumps. I believe in 3/8" and 1/4" heights.

I have a bunch of small spacers (graciously given to me by Airdog) that can space out your SuperBumps.

This is about 5 or so stacked together to shim the bump up about 1/4''. Let me know if you would like some and I can send them to you if you just cover shipping. Or you could just get the actual ones from Wheeler's, but the only downside is that you couldn't adjust them as much as a bunch of small ones.

exactly. lots of adjustments out there for a reason. every setup is different. especially when you are sprung over axle, and the thickness of your leaf pack makes a difference of how tall (or short) bumps should be. withsome of the thicker leaf packs, a proper setup that gets all of the usable tavel possible may even require you to cut a section out of that mount and weld it back together. just gotta test and see what your setup needs

With the right shocks, the shackle flip will give you way more travel. I sacrificed maybe 1" of uptravel and gained this for downtravel (long ago):

    DSCF5999_5cae4b91264930c4ebe9bf502b450d613143ffd3.jpg
    DSCF6000_c923ed0bc42162f141f0ff45b1f6628eabc11a58.jpg

That's the top of a 35" tire completely below the lowest portion of the bed. I haven't seen a setup yet with the stock rear hanger that will yield that amount of downtravel.

umm.....correct me if i'm wrong, but i'm seeing the stock hangers in those pictures.......

difference over stock being the relocated shocks. in which case, that makes sense, because my shocks are definitely the limiting factor for my setup. but my 35s are pretty darn close to being even with the slider a full articulation.

doesn't have an SAE rating as far as i can tell. the two bulletpoints below are directly from their site

Film thickness greater than an SAE 75W250, yet low fluid friction like 75W90
Relatively low viscosity, yet cushions gear teeth under extreme pressure

heavy shock is going in the diffs, 75/90 is going in the transfer case. transfer case takes something like 1.1 qts, so i'll just dump the entire yellow bottle in and top it off with the heavy shock.

i'll be doing the tranny with toyota atf. just haven't bought that yet, since i won't have time for it this weekend.

talk to torspd. he's the one who first showed me the stuff and explained why he uses it.

the short short version is, if you run your truck hard on a regular basis, and aren't worried about a slight mileage drop, it may be the oil for you. less frection, and less chance of blowing teeth off the ring gear.

i've run mobil 1 since the first diff oil change. it's done me good, but i'm always looking to try something better.
