Opinion time ...
I have a relatively stock 06 DCSB Sport 2WD. I have the Daystar 3 in leveling kit with blocks on the rear. I don't do any mad off roading, just like to be safe and secure when I'm out in the desert or mountains looking for snakes. I'll cross a wash or three or go up some questionable slopes if I think I can make it up and or back. But I dont do any rock crawling or anything that would risk me rolling the truck. I'm trying to pre-plan my tax refund money. Getting a new set of BFG AT KO's is a given. The ones I have now are almost worn out.

If you were in my shoes would you:
A) upgrade your UCA and LCA and shocks and rear leafs (and if so, which brand)

or

B) get a rear locker

or

c) ????

 

I'd go locker

Better lift setup, better tires. Duratracs the way to go for all terrains

 

Yes, yes, no. Having had experience with both duratracs and toyo at2. I would recommend the toyo at2. Duratracs are better than bfg all Terains but are trumped by at2s. Those of you that said locker I don't think it is as important for him since he has an 06 sport which still has mechanical LSD.

 

At2's all the way I had the bfgs too and I will never buy them again

 

I've had 4 sets of BFGs and I decided that I'm going with AT IIs next. BFGs have never let me down but they chunk A LOT!

At2 all the way and we have had no feedback on the coopers but I know Bill just wrapped his truck in some. I'm curious about them, but I doubt I ever run any other tire than at2 out here.

 

I'm a KM2 fan boy but I will agree to never run the duratracs. too soft.

 

I have 2 jerry cans with bucket mounts, metal straps, and the nozzles for sale. One of the cans I did spray paint, the other one I haven't touched yet same with the mounts. One of them has a little bit of rust inside but it can be cleaned out. The other has never been used so the inside is perfect but the outside has scuff marks. Pm me if interested. I also have a Uniden 510 cb for sale.
