    The powdercoat holds up really nicely so I'd rather not strip it. I would probably buy a bruteforce front with some custom options before I started hacking the perfectly good arb though.

    This is why you need headlight protection that extends past the rear of the headlight. Even then I still crumpled a fender

    On that note, Colin what do you think about putting a removable bar across the hood to connect the two side rails? We could use the same pipe connectors that we're going to use on the slider connection. The hood wouldn't open with the bar in place, but I'd only run the bar on wheelin trips.

    Thoughts?

    Edit:

    Looking at Oury's situtation I don't think the crossed up side rails would be able to withstand the entire weight of the truck on it's side.

    i would run it across the bottom portion of the windshield. you could still lift up the hood but not all the way.... possibly, i'll have to look more into it.
