    No.

    Mine wouldn't move at all. The steering wheel was locked and I couldn't move the key to even unlock it.

    Sound like your key is worn down. Do you have a spare? I'd try it to see if it works better.

    Our 4runner does that on a certain key, it's just from it being worn.

    mine failed when i was about to make a road trip to Canada. I pulled up to the house parked backwards in the middle of the street go inside. I come out hop back in the truck to run an errand and nothing..spent 70$ i want planning lol at least it didnt fail at some random gas station in the middle of nowhere. I ended up taking my bike instead of the tacoma

    I have 3 different keys lol... one works good for the gas door, the other works good for the door locks, the other works good for the ignition. All are the "same" key. Its sad

    Get a new (or two) keys cut and they should both work great in all three. :notsure:

    The one for the ignition is new. Idk lol. I think im going to get all new cylinders and have a locksmith key it to one key

    Ha. I normally don't do it myself because the tire shop rotates when I switch over to my studded tires. But I haven't put those on in two winters now.

    beat the hell out of my rear brakes the past few days, using the ebrake results in the rear drum calipers or whatever to not spring back out, so I was trying to hammer that pad back out a little so it doesnt drag. I've already adjusted the center nut to loosen for correct amt of clicks, its just so rusted in those rear drums or whatever that the pads dont jump back out after releasing the ebrake, think a rebuild of the drums is in the near future
