I mean if you can't get a better quality (warn) winch, I'll be happy to help you out with sealing the solenoid and replacing the grease, but I think it's worth the extra $200 or whatever it is for the Warn.

 

I was thinking a potluck around Christmas time way too much going on in the shop right now to fit tables.

Yep I would never buy a shitty built winch. Im lucky mine didn't destroy 2 trucks. If it had steel cable it would of. I love my warn never had a problem and it FREE spools !!

Free spools? Meaning you dont have it guide it back in so it is even distributed?

 

No every stupit shittybuilt I have tried to pull out by hand didn't work. With the warn I can grab the end and walk out the the truck im recovering effortlessly.

Could be kind of wet. My vote would be for Kirk Creek Campground. It's along the coast, great views. Big Basin is another great choice-in among the trees.

I'm still on the fence about it myself. I'm able to store stuff in the bed with the bestop. It isn't theft proof, but at least people would have to make an effort to see what's back there.
