    Ya he runs the hell out of his truck. If he didn't have that Hi clearance rear bumper at the last night cleghorn run he probably would've ripped off his stock one. It's 2wd but he puts it through some shit.

    I'll give you that they do look badass but there is more to the bumpers. I now have multiple recovery points. I now have a winch. All of that helps out since lm "only" 2wd. But ask anyone that has gone wheeling with me, my truck hangs pretty well with the 4wd guys. Hell even monkeyproof was surprised at what I was able to do with it.

    Yes they don't check that closely, just a quick pull up and wave thru. They may ask you if you have snow chains, just tell them yes. Cause you have to have them. But they won't actually ask to physicaly see them.
