If the deal is good enough I would be willing to wait. I can always just take my steps off for citrus like I did last time. Let me know what you are thinking. If you decide to buy the other ones that is.

Also, I don't recommend driving up here for the install unless you're gonna make quite the trip out of it. Driving down I-95 at 55mph would be a death wish and painfully slow.

Me and him talked about that yesterday. He said the same thing. With the break in period and all.

Got a Amazon back up camera in but not sure on the wiring. Anyone got some ideas?

I understand 3 and 4 go to the small black and red wire. But how do I tie in 1 and 2 to the yellow wire?

Yea I was talking to Jason about that like he said. I'll be getting the pre built 3rd member and I'll still have to do 55 on i95 from lake Mary to Palm Bay which will suck anyway.

You would splice an RCA video cable into your existing camera wires that run into your tailgate. And you also will need to unhook your OEM camera

I'm going to use the existing wiring that's already at the tailgate. Just not sure how to wire the trucks 4 wires into the new cameras 3

First of all, you need to wire the power to your reverse light because the OEM camera only uses 6v not 12....to get the pos and nev of the video, you connect a male video RCA jack to the yellow camera RCA. On the male side you splice the wire and get a positive and neg....understand?

That'll be good since you'll have places to stop and not be bored as well.

Looking at different license plate mounting options right now, tired of dealing with the hitch on this bumper. Looking at either on top of the Jerry can mounts or on the swing out then I can just get a license plate rear view camera. Don't want it on the bumper since it'll hang below the bumper and get tore up while wheeling.

    Thoughts?

Also, can't get the dang camera to work not sure what's wrong with my wiring. Guess I'll have to keep messing with it.

Look at how I did mine. I have the alpine license plate holder/rear view camera where the fuel van holder goes on mine

Well its a land Cruiser with a diesel so I've got that going for me.
Put it on the center of the tire. There are some kits out there for jeeps. Just sandwich it between the carrier and the tire and it has some pins and stuff.

I drilled and tapped the gate. Just need to make a bracket for a small LED strip above it.

Can't get enough of this new rear suspension set up! And 2wd locked got further up a gravel pile than 4wd open. :)

Can't wait to get out and really use all the new stuff!
