Not what I would do. I would rather have a truck set up for off road not just looks. But this is America or at least it once was.

Ya that's the way I figure it, it's all in the eye of the beholder.:) For a show truck/ pretty truck it's cool.
That big truck wouldn't even fit in my one car garage. My rig with a 3 inch is a tight fit...... Guess more power to him for doing what he/she likes.

The old glory........... This is true.

    Thanks,

    Brett

I would much rather invest in a log travel kit than a 12 inch lift. Long travel is way more capable than that, unless you're straight mud boggin'.

With a body lift it might be able to fit 40s.

Is it me or do I see a waste of $3,200 on that truck? :notsure: That just ruins the truck. Any kind of truck for that matter. If a lift isn't under 6", no thank you. Only because some tacomas looks good with 6". I prefer 4" and under. Since it looks best and is actually usable.

At $3,200 just for the kit, that's insane. Add in the price of the leafs, rear shocks, and the cost of labor (I doubt anybody that buys this is installing it themselves) and you might as well do an SAS!

Heck at this point OP needs to find an old set of Rockwells to rebuild. COG would be lowered a bit as well.

The OP isn't getting this lift, he was just asking others' opinions on it because somebody on Facebook had posted that the only reason people didn't like it was because they couldn't afford it.
