    Well its not exactly what i had in mind when he said tool box but I cant complain too much when he gave it to me for free. I just mentioned to him that i was wanting to put one on my truck and he said he had one layin around in his shop that i could have. so we go over and check it out and turns out it fits! i cleaned it up a little and the key is missing, but after a little work it'll look brand new. :D

    You're lucky to have a grandfather that thinks of you and wants to help like that. Do him a favor and keep the tool box in better shape than that garage. Kidding aside, spend time with him because he obviously cares for you and we don't keep them around forever.

    haha thats actually out storage building. its in desperate need of some organizing and cleaning. haha. but yeah i couldnt thank him enough. it felt like christmas! haha

    well theres a building supply place 5 minutes from my house that my grandpa said could make me a new set of keys, so thats probably the route i'll take.

    Thanks guys. Ive got a friend comin over later who wants to help me mount it. He's got a toolbox for his tacoma as well but hasnt managed to put it on yet. Now I just need to figure out what i want to put inside it.

    Yes you are, I've had to buy both of my first 2 cars, one of which is a project car(it does run though, it just doesn't have a/c so I don't drive it much) Lol and the other is a Jeep for going to work. It would've helpped so much more to get to start with something like that. Nice looking box too, cool you got it for free.
