Hah it's gonna suck but like you said, I haven't met anyone who wouldn't do it (even if they didn't really like the experience after the first 4)

Yeah I will.... just after the TW meet today :D

Hey guys anyone ever experience a slight hesitation when trying to accelerate or even at idle.

So 2 weeks ago I was sitting at a light (truck was driven all day) and the idle dropped all of a sudden, I thought the truck was gonna die out. It didn't and it has been driving fine up until recently. 2 days ago I went to the store and left the truck idling for about 10 minutes, I get back in the truck reverse and then as I hit the gas to drive forward it gives me a little hesitation as I push the gas pedal. It's maybe one or two skips then It starts driving like normal and gets us home. I'm still not to worried, just thinking maybe because it's cold out that had something to do with it and it drove fine all day yesterday. Well today it felt a little worse as we were driving around. We made about a 7 mile trip for my daughters birthday and it drove fine. Then I left to get pizzas and I could kinda feel a slight hesitation once or twice while I was out, I played it off as maybe my foot hit the pedal more than I thought. Then on the drive home I could feel it more, again maybe 2 or 3 different times during our 7 mile drive back home. The only difference between today's incidents and the others is that the hesitation from today was while we were driving, the 2 other times it has happened I was either idling or just taking off from a stand still. Not sure where to start but I have some ideas.

I have new plugs in there as of last week. Air filter is a couple months old.
I seafoamed the truck about 2 months ago so I would suspect the intake is fairly clean.

My first though was maybe its a sign of the fuel pump going bad? Or even fuel filter?

Any help or thoughts are welcome

Almost sounds like the throttle position sensor. If it is, you should get a CEL eventually.

Just a puff of smoke and that was about it.
Exhaust smells terrible though, not like it normally does...

Dropped the transmission and transfer case today and installed a new marlin crawler clutch kit and new flywheel. The old flywheel has surface cracks in it and the clutch disk was shot completely. The clutch is more of an off and on switch now and easier to push.
