there is no such thing as a double cab long box TRD Offroad Tacoma right?

There is a local used auto dealer near my house and i drive by it every day. The only Tacoma ive ever seen in their lot and its up on a stand taller than every other vehicle (like it should be). And its a DBLB Black taco with fake fog light black inserts no scoop and a TRD offroad sticker.

My assumption was that all TRD model Tacomas had fog lights, this one has the fake black holes which makes me think its just an SR5. It also doesn't have a hood scoop either. which is consistent with the offroad.

My mechanic operates in the same lot so im going to check the truck out when get my truck serviced, just wondering what your thoughts were and if i was completely wrong about the offroads.

Pretty sure its not a true of road... thought they only came in an access cab but could be wrong. One way to tell is if it has the yellow bilsteins and a locker

TRD Offroad comes in AC or DCSB in the US

Thats what i thought. Ill be informing the dealer i think that they've either been vamboozled or they are trying to vamboozle a customer. VIN number should say if its TRD or not too right? Gives the auto dealer no excuse.

You should be able to tell just by looking at the seats... The TRD will have TRD buckets, the SR5 will have SR5 seats...

Check the seats and look for the locker actuator on the rear axle. TRD off roads will have a skid plate under the gas tank too. Probably an SR5 with a sticker on it.
