Yeah, tomorrow won't be too terrible for me I guess. Only work for an hour or two and then an 8 hour drive home.

I don't understand how blue would increase clarity, maybe easier on the eyes of oncoming traffic? Not that I plan to use it on the road haha

I want the marine blue ones for snow, and the black ones as covers just because they look cool

Maybe because the current 240 bulb has more of a yellow color to it that the lens would provide a brighter white, almost like the HID bulbs produce?
Agreed, I want one for snow/rain, a red one (for spotlighting). I feel like a black one would be too much...? I'll let you get that and then I'll decide :D

Hmm, I don't know since I plan on getting HID ones from the start haha

    Eh, I don't need a red one...

Well hopefully my whole truck will pretty much be black by then so I think it'll help add to the look....

Yeah idk how that'll play out.. GOOD regardless, I know that.
Nah I wouldn't the red will go on my handheld 240.

Ever thought about retrofitting with darker headlight housings?
2 people mentioned that to me within the past month or two but I feel like that'd just be too much black :notsure:

When I retrofit I'm going to paint the whole inside housing black. And for the corner lights I'm going with this. All black with just an orange accent to match the orange halos I'll have on the retrofit....

yea turns the light more white. Mine are whiter anyways but not super pure white. No idea what the temp is for the HID ones though.

Aimed down a lot to not piss people off. But they work better like that as fogs anyway.

Btw Brent, I updated my "To Do Mod List" so I now have things on there that I've already bought/installed, still didn't help. All I know now is I'm halfway done with my build :pout:

I meant the retrofitted headlights
That's a good pic of the D2 output though.

Oh. That's my mini H1 output as well haha. My buddy is doing a D2S retro in his FJ this weekend. I'll try to get some output pics.

Light output of the retrofits? Don't be interested, just do it! Haha Nobody has good comparison pictures is seems, but EVERYBODY says it's amazing after the finish.

Haha it only looks like you're that much done, you'll find more stuff.
What made you decide H1's over D2's?
This guy! This guy gets it

No idea haha. But after seeing my my buddy's D2S and how the bulb seat is, I'd much rather have them. The wires going into my bulbs are splitting. Replaced one already and it's starting to split open again. Light output is pretty much a wash as far as I know. I think the H1 might have a wider spread but I can't remember.
