I washed cleaned it out for the first time in 1.5 years last weekend.

    Took me 5 hours.

Not really. Although I am surprised my dog has any hair left on her body, she left so much of it on the back seats.

3 hours was spent on the interior. Just, vacuuming and scrubbing and vacuuming and wiping and....ugh.

The truck was so dirty my wheels had lost all their shine. Completely matte.

    Now she sparkles. :D

I wash exterior and clean/vacumn interior weekly, daily use CA dust mop. I have used Klasse cleaner(wax) and sealant for all my vehicles over the last 15 years, use 303 for vinyl/black. I've always waxed my cars twice a year but I'm getting old and it's harder to do so now every 9 months or so. Really happy with the Klasse and it's great on windows also. My problem is the raised white letters.

I washed mine almost every week when I got it last july but now I was it whenever I'm bored. I don't mind the outside being dirty will all the camping I do. I just can't stand the interior being dirty so I clean and vacuum about twice a month.

Usually once a week maybe twice if I'm slow at work.

Having every thing you could ever need to detail sitting there makes it hard to not to have the truck OCD kick in and try to fix every blemish on it:D

I only wash it every other months or so unless it gets real dirty. Winter time is a different story though.

Right now I am washing once a week, as I am
constantly collecting bug guts all over the front
bumper/grill and windshield. :frusty: I'll be glad
    when bug season is over.

Had a question on this.. I just got my Tacoma a few days ago and got the wash/detail at the dealership. It didn't appear to be waxed or anything and the drying job they did on the wash left a little to be desired (had water streaks on all the mirrors).. the weather here in NJ is supposed to be rainy the next few days as well. Should I get it washed today on a nice day or wait until the rain is done? My truck sits outside unfortunately, no garage or cover.. I didn't know if you can "over wash" or anything like that -- like I said, it didn't appear to have any wax job done on it yet at all.

Twice a week...through a touchless wash that work pays for and then by hand every weekend along with an interior detailing. Working construction sucks in regards of a clean taco.

Me too. I wash mine every time it rains. It's been at least 3 years since I actually hand washed it.

Oregon doesn't use salt on the roads, so I don't have any rust. I still crawl under it at least once a month and inspect the frame and hit crucial fasteners to ensure they are tight. I never understood how some people have rust problems, it's not like it happens overnight. Get a creeper and roll around poking at stuff!
