    see above.

The extended shocks are so you can use the travel of the leaf pack you use for lift. if you use the standard length shocks with say the Expo pack you might pull the shock in 2 pieces or I have seen the top nut get ripped right off.

Ok thanks I have heard if you put the maxtrac 4" spindles on it pushes your front tires out an inch away from your truck is that true? And if so what size of wheel spacer would you use for the back tires so they will match the front tires?

The spindles are 3/4" per side. Also you cant run stock rims with out wheel spacers on the front. It doesnt look bad if you run 1.25" spidertrax in the rear with nothing up front.

So got my spindles on with 3" block in the back. Gettin vibes in the rear. Stuck a cb drop kit on and waiting on shims. Should I just go ahead and order the 3" aal from toytec or do u think the shims will do the trick?

I would replace the leaf pack with an allpro or custom alcan over just adding an ad a leaf. Notice there is no arch in your springs and their appear to be almost flat. Also you might be getting vibes cause the more you lift the rear end it starts to pull it out of the transmission. Pics below of what it should look like and what yours probably looks like.

If this is the case you can get a custom spacer to push the driveshaft where it should be. I posted a pic of a spacer added
also. Link below for the spacer.

Not sure which cb drop you are using also but the beefed taco one is extremely good. link below

Ok so if I ran the 4" spindles in the front and ran my stock 17" sport rims with 285 tires what size of wheel spacers would I need to run in the front and the back so I wouldn't rub the spindle in the front and to make the back tire even with the front tire since the spindles make the front tires stick out some?

Maxtrac spindles, billies at 1.75, allpro stnd leaf pack
I already have maxtrac spindles with a aal in the rear, I have a all pro standard leaf pack ready to be install along with some 5100 billies for the front. Does anyone have a pic on the .85 setting with the allpro standard? I'm trying to decide what setting to put the billies at so the truck is level after the leafs go in.

    Thanks

well, with these spindles and the Standards you're already gonna be a hair nose high. If you put any preload on your coils, you're gonna have some good bro-lean going on.

So as embarrassed as I am. My problem was my blocks were on backwards. They were sloping up towards the front / instead of the thinner end sloping down towards the front. Hope this helps someone else.

I was driving home and noticed my steering wheel cocked. Truck was not pulling or anything just cocked. Would it have anything to do with me messing with my driveshaft (cb drop kit) or did the alignment shop not tighten something down?

Yeah those blocks are tappered so shims would have just increased the angle. Aside from having flattened leafs, it didn't really make a ton a sense to me why you were having such a vibe issue.

I have a friend with those same blocks and it rides good for now. Actaully its darn soft compared to my rear and rides nice on the highway. But he'll be ditching those blocks come summertime. For now he's pretty happy with the cheap blocks that do the trick.

Get those things turned around and fast
