Looks good! But I'd take off the license plate...or find a different way to mount it.

Pretty much stock with some crap welded to it.
Haha ya it's very temporary especially cause its zip tied on, I just can't find a place I like it just yet.. Cops have been cracking down on the no front license plates in my town.

Replaced rear diff fluid, transfer case fluid and transmission fluid.

The front diff drain plug won't budge. Penetrating oil and impact hammer wouldn't do a damn thing. Ended up destroying my friend's bit in the process.

Will eventually pay his shop to chisel out the plug etc. In the meantime we'll keep hitting it with penetrating oil and try to unseat it for the next couple of oil changes.

On to the transmission fluid. About 4,000 miles ago I changed it to Royal Purple. Immediately started to notice a real "notchy" feel to shifting. In the mornings, when cold, I couldn't really even shift into first, second or reverse. Even when warm, it felt horrible too. I just changed it to Redline MT-90. Instant difference. When warm it shifts like butter. Tomorrow morning will help me determine the final verdict.

    To recap:

    Redline MT-90: great
Royal Purple: can suck my choata.

I have a feeling once I install the Marlin Crawler shifter seat and lever socket, it's going to feel fantastic.

Where did you get the MT-90 fluid from?
I'm due for a trans fluid change but want to fill it back with what it has in it now. Any where to get the redline other than the dealer?

You have to look up on their website to find out who sells it in your area. For me it was the local Acura/Subaru dealer that had it the cheapest.

I see that you havean auto tranny (unless you did the conversion in your double cab). You need auto tranny fluid and not gear oil.

Drill and through bolt it right to the Aluminum piece. Make sure you use 4 bolts not just the top two of the first puddle you hit will bend it up and fuck it up.

I love lifetime warrantys:D Picking up my new steering rack this week.

I want to do that on my trailer. I have lost it twice at the damn boat ramp last year I had to write the number on a piece of cardboard. Its a lot of work for a trailer that moves 2 miles a year.

Looking for ideas/suggestions on securing this, lock and chain is the only temporary/secure thing I can think of. Maybe will get a plate with studs welded to the side of the rack?
It's been on with a strap for a week but want it locked on there
