I am debating between a Yakima or an OEM roof rack for my 2014 DCSB. Any thoughts on this? The Yakima is $100 less but the OEM will be covered under my warranty as a factory accessory.

They well be used for the occasional kayak and that's probably it.

Personally I think the Yakima and Thule roof racks look better then oem.

The factory only is rated for 100lbs vs about 150lbs for the Yakima. Unlike the factory rack, there are alot more attachments that you can interchange for carrying various items with the Yakima and finding parts used on CL is alot easier. Only advantage of the OEM rack is you can fold and store the bars away to prevent road noise. I am also not too fond of the bulky look of the OEM rack on top of the cab. Yakima racks are actually more pricey because OEM can be found on eBay for less than $250.
