hey guys.. I finally decided on the OME 3'' lift kit but had a quick question.. Hate to beat a dead horse about rims and tires but I was wondering if someone could assist.. I'm looking at Dick Cepek Torque rims 16x8, 6x5.5, 4.5 BS and General AT2 or Nitto Duragrapplers in the size 285 x 75r 16.. will I need spacers and will a lot of trimming be necessary? The truck will see minimal offroad... Any other recommendations on tire sizes would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks guys

Get 17's the right backspacing and 285's won't rub. You have the choice on wheels so why not upgrade a little.

    Thanks,

    Brett

Satoshi'd grill. blacked out badges. aftermarket sound system. De-chromed and color matched. OME 885s + Dakars with 3rd leaf removed. LR UCAs. Scs stealth 6 with 285 duratracs. BAMF sliders
Why 17s? 285/70/17 will probably rub no matter what backspacing/offset the wheels are.

just got this on about a week ago, 885’s in the front with the spacers and dakars in the rear, rides great, but a little squeaking from the front left side, trying to figure that out now.
    what do you guys think?

i love the way it rides, better than stock in my opinion. haven’t gotten a chance to do any real offroading yet but I’m sure it will be fine.

With no weight up front why not just add top plate spacers instead of a stiffer coil ?
