I have neither the light bar nor Jerry's gear.

But I will say this. The guys at Illumination Supply are great; I was there for components earlier on in the week and they're good guys!

    Keep up the great work!

Hooked up the LED to IS harness and 12V supply and the light just flashes on/off/on. What did I do wrong??

If its doing it intermittently while driving I would say look for a bad ground or loose connection.

not even installed yet, thankfully. everything is sitting on kitchen table. thought it might be the relay but it also happens when the led is powered directly. with and without switch. with and without inline fuse.

Well definitely sounds like an issue with the light, or with the power source. Have you put a meter on the power source to make sure its good? You may have gotten a bad light.

Are you over-driving a little 12V power supply? Sounds kinda like it to me since you're in the house and all... You're probably drawing too much current and it's throwing a fit.

Hook directly to your truck's battery to confirm the light is ok as that's a known good 12V supply.

Got it installed today...took my 3 hours yesterday and about 4 hours today. It was for sure a tight fit but it fits and I freaking love it!!!

Some things I learned while installing

    Blue wire is "in"
    White wire is "out"
    Black is ground

Thankfully I wired it correct the first time. If someone is looking to install it like this, I am going to be putting together a how to.

Well done sir! you are correct. Hooking direct to truck battery resulted in a nice steady output. will have to check the amp rating on my power supply.

    Thank you.

I want to do this when I get a 30". Did you have to do any trimming to make it fit in there?

I did have to do a lot of trimming, but only of the back. It is a tight fit for sure, but it works.

I did a little write up, look in the 2nd gen area. Also feel free to ask any questions.

This is perfect. When I get mine, I'm either putting it on my nfab light bar, or recess it into that lower valence. I'm sure I'll have questions...

    Well done man!

Check the current - I've seen weird things under a high current draw when the power supply can't push as much as is being drawn. If it's a cheap power supply, there the possibility of way more margin for weirdness/error.

What's the current rating of the supply vs. the current draw of the light bar you've got?

How can I purchase items? I don't want to wait for another group buy. I'd like to chat with someone on the phone if possible I have a few questions.

    Thanks!
