Normally I would say the Idaho BS thread is probably the best kept secret, except that the thread got so good that it is definitely not a secret anymore... I am always stunned at everyone that lurks there.

I have debated it ;) haha Maybe when I have a tow rig so I won't need the bed space. Not that I have any anyway...

Besides it has yet to slow me down any.

Not even when it was OEM:rofl:

Hey Gage, I tried the mr heater little buddy for our trip to idaho. Got about 6 hours of heat out of the one pound propane bottle. We setup the annex on the tent and put the heater in the annex under the ladder. Annex ended up being warmer than the tent space above but it made the super cold night pretty comfortable. For 60$ plus the 3 dollars for the propane id say it was worth it. Plus it was nice to warm up hands with when setting up the tent, cooking dinner, coffee the next morning... I've been trying it in our insulated two car garage and while it warms it up a bit it takes too long to heat up the space. Pulling a warmed up car into the garage warms it up much faster. Depending on your garage space it may work though.

Yea with the annex setup and it sitting on the floor of the annex with just the bug screen closed on the door of the tent it took the edge off and made it comfortable. We put it in the actual tent for a while and got way warm, bordering uncomfortable lol.

Side note, got offered a full time spot today at the place i've been working part time :woot: First of the year i'll be happily employed working with a guy who owns his own engineering and surveying company. Really psyched!

    NO

    520xlpro

510 doesn't have RF gain adjustment. Which is pretty important.

just get basic camp gear stuff. Its usually what people get. Knifes, flash lights, mugs, survival stuff. I also sent some fun Wy stuff as my other guy was a marine and in HW haha so got some cool stuff for him from the tourist stores in Cody. And sent him some sage brush and soil from Wy just cause he lived so far away figured he had never seen sage brush and smelt it.

Damn why aren't you my guy :p haha id love that. Oh well. Ill just add it to the mod list as it is. 15w solar kit would be perfect really to wire into both batteries i think..
