& to answer your question steve i had good luck with my cobra on vacation a few years ago, theres better for more $$$ the detector i had ran with most all the bands (x,K & some others) great unit for the $$$ saved my ass at least half a dozen times in AZ

Fixed my YZ 250 last night, has a Powervalve issue, my 08'CRF 450r has a bad 5th gear (2nd time!), the worst part about it is I just had the cases split 3 weeks ago while replacing the valves just to check stuff, guess I didnt check good enough.

I am so ready for a damn new bike. I hate it when I have a friend who makes a shitload of money programming stuff. So he sold all his off-road stuff last year, and about a month ago decided to get new stuff!
A 34' trailer, a new Razor 1000, 2 quads for his kids, a brand new Dodge to pull the trailer and a 2013 KTM 450XC-f, and barely knows how to ride, meanwhile I am capable of wining a national caliber desert race and riding clapped out 5+ year old bikes!!

Lucky!! But I guess what good is it to have a brand new bike when I can outride him anywhere at anytime on even a borrowed bike, lol. Still doesnt make it any easier to look at a NEWB rider on a brand new bad ass motorcycle! It almost hurts to look, haha.

 

I'll take a ZR1 Vette instead.
